On September 9, Czecho No Republic released their new album, “Santa Fe.” The band has now released the music video for the album’s 2nd track, “Heart Beat.” The clip for the upbeat song features footage from Czecho No Republic’s Hibiya Open Air Concert Hall one man live. Just a half-year since their conception, the craze of LADYBABY is continually growing.
Mixing the sounds of Japanese pop music with heavy metal, the unconventional idol group will continue to transcend the boundaries of age and gender through song and dance with their first overseas concert in New York City this October.
The Ladybaby trio features two young girls, as expected of the current J-Pop landscape, and a third member of the band who sticks out like a…bearded man dressed as a kawaii idol.

On March 18, (((Sssurrounddd))) released their third album, “See you, Blue.” At a live show this past May, a CD was distributed to attendees that contained 3 remixes of songs from “See you, Blue” by 3 different female musicians. This project was titled “Escort of (((Sssurrounddd))).” Saho Terao remixed “Siren Syrup”, Phew remixed “Time Capsule”, and Sapphire Slows remixed “Boys & Girls”.” These remixes have now been uploaded to (((Sssurrounddd)))’s SoundCloud. Starting on September 16, BOMI and Suiyoubi no Campanella frontwoman Koumai be the faces of a special promotion called “DOUGI COLLECTION” at the Shinjuku branch of the Isetan department store and the Ginza branch of the Mitsukoshi department store. After the promotion ends on September 22, the promotion will continue the following day at the Nihonbashi branch of Mitsukoshi, where it will run until September 29.
As part of the collaboration, the duo have released the music video for a for a short song titled “MONOII.” In the clip, the ladies can seen hanging around at a sumo training facility. The video can be seen after the jump!
In related new, Suiyoubi no Campanella will release their new album, “Zipang”, on November 11. It will have 10 tracks, including the songs “Shakushain”, “Twiggy”, and “Ra.”
On November 11, Spangle call Lilli line will release their new album “ghost is dead.” This is the band’s first studio album since 2010’s “forest at the head of a river.” “ghost is dead” will have 11 songs, including “azure”, which had its music video released a few months ago. Ahead of the album’s release, Spangle call Lilli line has released the music video for the album’s 5th track, “feel uneasy.” It is a collaboration with mitsume frontman Kawabe Moto. On the single side, SMAP topped the chart with “Otherside / Ai ga Tomaru Made wa”, with its CD+DVD Limited Edition A selling 46,486 copies. The 3 editions of this single took the top 3 spots on the chart. Between these 3 editions, “Otherside / Ai ga Tomaru Made wa” sold 104,677 copies, making it the best selling single this week.
On the album side, Yuzu topped the chart with “Ninin Sankyaku 2015.8.15 ~Midori no Hi~”, with its 1 CD only edition selling 31,554 copies. This made it the best selling album this week.
Earlier today, the girls of color-code released the PV for “Break Our Love”, one of the coupling tracks off their second single “Hands UP!”.
In other color-code related news, the girls are celebrating their first anniversary party “color-code 1st Anniversary supported by NYLON” in Minamiaoyama, Tokyo today.
Guest performers include ☆Taku Takahashi, Beat Buddy Boi, UNA, Lucas Valentine and more. Advance tickets for the event are priced at 2,500¥.

An anime series based on Capcom’s beloved “Ace Attorney” series has been announced at the annual Tokyo Games Show! The show will begin airing on Japanese televisions starting in April 2016. A tweet by nindori shows the art for main characters Phoenix Wright, Miles Edgeworth, and Maya Fey. Further details will be revealed in the upcoming months.
Capcom also revealed a brand new trailer for the upcoming Ace Attorney game “Ace Attorney 6”. The game takes place in a mysterious country outside of Japan, this proves difficult for Phoenix Wright since he has to settle cases with people who have a much different belief in spirits compared to his home country. The game will be released next year on the Nintendo 3DS, check out the trailer below!
