FAMM’IN newest track “animus” MV to be released on March 23!

Have you ever heard of our lord and saviour, Gagaku Trap?

FAMM’IN has been performing in lots of sports events these last months, but sadly, their release agendas are not nearly as hectic as their live agendas. That’s the reason why fans rejoiced when a new single, “animus”, was announced back in 2016. However, the track went dormant for five months, leaving fans questioning what happened to that track. Wonder no more, as it has just been announced the release date of the MV: March 23rd (next Thursday!). That’s not all, as they have released seven new teasers in which each one of the members dance and sing to a now revealed rap part. This track has been classified by the group as “Gagaku Trap”, alluding to the mix of modern day electronic sounds and the culture and folklore from the traditional Japan this super-unit is famous for. Check the seven teasers just after the jump!

X Japan takes over London HMV, goes to #1 on UK Rock Chart

On Saturday, March 4, X Japan performed their very first major show of 2017 at the SSE Arena, Wembley, in the United Kingdom. This followed the release of their feature film documentary “We Are X” in theaters across the UK. The We Are X Soundtrack, featuring the theme song for the film “La Venus”, was released worldwide on Sony Music’s Legacy Recordings, taking the Number 1 spot in 9 countries on iTunes as well as the #1 position on the UK Rock And Metal Chart, Top 30 on the UK Albums Chart, and Number 3 on the UK Soundtrack Chart!

X JAPAN was previously supposed to perform in London last year, but due to guitarist Pata suffering a serious illness the concert had to be delayed. To promote the show at Wembly Arena the band held a signing at HMV, a popular music store chain. Over 1000 fans ended up showing up to the event forcing the famed Oxford Street to be temporarily shut down.

A photo from the madness outside HMV, as well as a screenshot from the UK Rock Charts can be seen below.

BIGMAMA reveal all of the details about their upcoming album “Fabula Fibula”

Late last year we reported that long-running rockers BIGMAMA would be releasing their seventh full-length album “Fabula Fibula” on March 22nd.  In the months since then, the group have not only revealed all of the remaining information about the record, but also published the PV for lead track “BLINKSTONE no Shinjitsu wo” to their Youtube channel.

This music video finds the band performing the song in a series of different stately locations, often surrounded by a number of sculptures.  These locales are in some ways a direct contrast to the heavy nature of this rocking track, but simultaneously pay homage to the Greek origins of its subject matter.

Read on below to find the PV for “BLINKSTONE no Shinjitsu wo”, as well as the cover and track list for “Fabula Fibula”.
