Singer and voice actress Saori Hayami will be releasing her 4th single Jewelry in March. It is currently serving as the ending theme for the anime series Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card.
In the MV Hayami is in a room fit for a princess, surrounded by various makeup products and pink furniture. Jewelry will be released in two versions, a CD only “anime ver” edition and CD+DVD “artist ver” edition. The CD only cover will feature Cardcaptor Sakura herself on the cover while Hayami is on the other.
Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card is a sequel to the iconic anime and manga series Cardcaptor Sakura, originally created by the manga artist group CLAMP. It began airing on January 7th, 2018. She wakes up to find that her Sakura cards are all blank and powerless.
In another dream shortly after she is approached by the same cloaked figure who gives her a new key. The next day while at school she is suddenly attacked by strong winds and is able to transform the key given to her in the dream into a new powerful staff. Mannequin duo FEMM recently got together with SheBops, an online magazine that exclusively covers female artists.
As legend goes in 2013 over 300,000 mannequins disappeared. No one really knows what happened as there were barely any witnesses to the event. The exception being two mannequins who were able to cheat their fate, RiRi and LuLa. Now represented by their agents Honey-B and W-Trouble, they begin to navigate the world and try to understand the thinking of humans who try to oppress them.
Since seemingly debuting out of nowhere in 2014, the girls have amassed an underground cult following especially among international J-POP fans. Back in October 2017 FEMM dropped their very first cover album 80s/90s J-POP REVIVAL, taking some of Japan’s most beloved classics from that era and making it their own. Standouts include their take on Wink’s Samishii Nettaigyo, Kome Kome Club’s Rouman Hikou, Watanabe Misato’s My Revolution, and hitomi’s Candy Girl.
Want to hear the mannequins take on their musical growth, feminism, and their oversea fanbase? Of course you do, check it out below!
We’ve got an early announcement for this summer’s “24hr Television” program. Sexy Zone will be the main personality of NTV’s annual program to broadcast on August 25 and 26. The announcement was made during the broadcast of Arashi ni Shiyagare last Saturday night.
It is the first time for the group to serve as main personality. More information about the program, such as the female personality, marathon runner and 24hr tv drama lead, will be announced later on.
The news was delivered to the group while they were doing a fake commentary promo for their new album. Upon reading the announcement in the cue cards, there was a moment of confusion until “Special Presenter” Ninomiya Kazunari appears to confirm. Check out a video of the announcement below.
Aiming to keep up their current momentum, pop-rock band Mr.Children have announced that they will be releasing a brand new Live DVD/Blu-ray on March 21st. This release will contain footage from the group’s “DOME & STADIUM TOUR -Thanksgiving 25-” show at Egao Kenkou Stadium in Kumamoto, which was held on September 9th last year.
In addition to the concert, the Limited Edition versions of the release will also include a special Music Clips collection, which will contain the music videos for 36 of the songs included on their digital best albums plus last year’s singles “Hikari no Atelier” and “himawari”. With both sections combined, there are over 400 minutes of material to be found on this expansive anniversary offering.
You’ll find the cover and complete track list for this Live DVD/Blu-ray below, so please do read on.
Nearly a year and a half after they first broke up, the former members of rock band Galileo Galilei have come back together to start a new musical project. Joined by support guitarist DAIKI, who performed with the trio during their final tour, the four piece group will be known as Bird Bear Hare and Fish.
The announcement came during member Yuuki Ozaki’s solo concert on January 27th, where he revealed the information to an excited crowd of cheering fans. Though they have not yet announced the release of any proper material, the new band will be holding their first official live together on May 10th at Tokyo’s Ebisu LIQUIDROOM.
In the meanwhile, feel free to check out the group’s official website and expect further information about their activities to be reported as it is made available.
