Announced at last year’s AKB48 Kouhaku Utagassen, it was revealed that upcoming Mexican telenovela entitled “LIKE” would feature a co-lead role from a 48Group member, having the girl uproot her life and study abroad for the role.

Today it was announced that AKB48 member Anna Iriyama will take on this exciting venture.

Producer Pedro Damián explained the role: “She is a girl who does not speak English and does not speak Spanish; ‘LIKE’ is a comedy, so that’s an incredible element to be able to play with.“

This summer will bring in the first installment of the live action films of Kubo Tite’s popular manga series “Bleach“, with fans getting a taste of the film’s first teaser trailer revealed Ichigo and Rukia earlier this year.

With the teaser praised for its faithful adaptation of the series’ first chapter, finally the other “Bleach” Soul Reapers have been revealed, including singer-songwriter and guitarist MIYAVI.

On March 7, PAELLAS will release their new mini album, “Yours.” This is the band’s first release since “D.R.E.A.M.”, their mini album from last September. PAELLAS recently released the music video for the opener on “Yours”, “Echo.” The video centers around an old woman who lives in a mirrored room in a medical facility. The upcoming digital single “Kimi no Mikata” from Kyary Pamyu Pamyu debuted on radio waves last night on Tokyo FM’s “SCHOOL OF LOCK!“.

As previously reported, the song was first heard earlier this year at Kyary’s yearly birthday event where she was gifted the song by producer Yasutaka Nakata of capsule.

Today marks the release of Mika Nakashima‘s 44th single KISS OF DEATH!

For this release Nakashima collaborated with the iconic L’Arc~en~Ciel/VAMPS front-man HYDE . Their second collaboration overall, the two first crossed paths in 2005 for the song GLAMOROUS SKY.

KISS OF DEATH is currently serving as the theme song for the hit anime series Darling in the Franxx. The MV mainly features Nakashima flaunting around in a pair of panties and a white tank top, questionable looking CGI also makes it’s presence known all throughout the video.

The single is available for purchase in three different versions. Two limited edition CD+DVDs, one anime and one standard, and then a regular CD only. The anime edition comes with a Darling in the Franxx OP Video while the other comes with the full KISS OF DEATH MV.

Fans of the HYDE and Nakashima duo are in for a treat as the b-side is a 2018 version of their legendary hit GLAMOROUS SKY, the new version is titled GLAMOROUS SKY (Re: Present 2018).
