Daichi Miura Is Backed by 66 Dancers in “By Myself” PV

As previously reported, Daichi Miura will release his new single, “Be Myself”, on August 22. Daichi debuted the Nao’ymt-produced song on last month’s 2018 FNS Uta no Natsu Matsuri. The music video for the song has now been released. The clip has the theme of liberation, allowing Daichi to be his true self. In the video, Daichi is backed by a group of 66 dancers. Results Announced for the Yahoo! Japan Search Awards mid-year 2018

The results for Yahoo! Japan Search Awards mid year 2018 are announced. Annually, these awards are given to people, works and products which had the biggest increase in their Yahoo searches compared to the previous year. For this mid year, the top 3 for each category are announced. Only the winner of the Grand Prize will be announced for the yearly results.

Hey! Say! JUMP takes on cosplay in “COSMIC☆HUMAN” music video

Hey! Say! JUMP released their latest single “COSMIC☆HUMAN” last August 1. The title track is the theme song for the NTV’s late night drama “Tokyo Alien Brothers” starring member Inoo Kei. This will also be the last single Okamoto Keito takes part of before taking a break to study in New York by September.

The positive song takes on themes of humanity’s weakness, strength, strangeness, difficulty, and universal love paired with a melody line like a blue sky that goes on forever come together to create “Minna no Uta” a song that will help take a firm step forward into the future. Check out the released music video which feature the members cosplaying different characters such as a delivery man, doctor, salaryman, astronaut and more!

Nogizaka46 release two MVs for “Sora Tobira” and “Sankaku no Akichi”

Nogizaka46 has uploaded two brand new MVs to their official YouTube channel for the tracks “Sora Tobira” and “Sankaku no Akichi”.

Both songs serve as b-sides for their 21st single “Jikochuu de Ikou!“.

AKB48 leaves center position vacant at concert due to Jurina Matsui’s illness

Mega girl group AKB48 recently completed a successful concert at the Yokohama Arena on August 2nd, titled “Sekai Senbatsu Sousenkyo Kansha Sai“.

This concert in particular had many fans curious due to the 2018 Senbatsu Election winner Jurina Matsui, who took home the crown back in June 2018. Unfortunately, Matsui is currently taking a hiatus from performing due to poor health.

Many wondered if someone would fill in for Matsui’s center positions, espically during the performance of their new song.

AAA member Takahiro Nishijima, otherwise known as Nissy, has been selected as the coverboy for the newest issue. Besides his work in AAA, Nissy has been able to position himself as both a successful soloist and actor.

Tomita Lab Collaborates with Naz and Nagaoka Ryosuke on New Digital Single

On August 1, Tomita Lab will release a new double A-side single, “OCEAN / Password.” The single is based on soul and jazz. “OCEAN” features vocals by 18 year old Okinawa high school student Naz, while “Password” features the vocals of Petrolz’s Nagaoka Ryosuke.

Tomita Lab has now released the music video for “OCEAN.” The clip features Naz in the lush, tropical landscape of her home. Check it out below, along with more information on this single!
