Rock legend HYDE has teamed up with fellow legend YOSHIKI for his latest track “ZIPANG“
The MV portrays HYDE dressed as some sort of emperor or God, belting out the song while in front of Toji Temple located in Kyoko. YOSHIKI can be seen in the background playing the piano. Check it out below!
In May 1973, Haruomi Hosono released the album “HOSONO HOUSE.” He’ll revisit that album with his new album, “HOCHONO HOUSE”, out March 6. “HOCHONO HOUSE” will be a re-recorded and reconstructed version of “HOSONO HOUSE.” Also, the track list of “HOCHONO HOUSE” will be the opposite of “HOSONO HOUSE”, with the opening track of the 2019 album being the closing track of the 1973 one.
Furthermore, Hosono will be touring the US! He’ll play the Gramercy Theater in New York on May 29, and the Mayan Theater in Los Angeles on June 3.

On February 6, YUKI will release her new album, “forme.” This is her first album since March 2017’s “Mabataki.” The album includes the single “Träumerei”, as well as the song “Yatara to Synchronicity.” The song serves as the theme song for the Fuji TV drama “QUEEN”, marking the first drama theme for YUKI since 2013’s “STARMANN”, which served as the theme for Fuji TV’s “Starman Kono Hoshi no Koi.”
YUKI will have a long list of collaborators for “forme” including Creephyp‘s Ozaki Sekaikan, Kawamoto Makoto, Chara, Akai Koen‘s Tsuno Maisa, NONA REEVES‘ Nishidera Gota, Haruomi Hosono, Horigome
Yasuyuki, Maeno Kenta, and Yoshizawa Kayoko. These artists composed and co-arranged various songs on the album, with YUKI in charge of lyrics and co-arranging. The album’s closing track, “Utsukushii wa”, is a solo effort by YUKI, with her in charge of the song’s lyrics, composition, and arrangement.
“forme” will be released in a CD+DVD limited edition and a CD only regular edition. A vinyl edition will be released on March 13.

Back in January, singer Kana Nishino suddenly announced that she would be taking a hiatus from all entertainment activities. Her hiatus would officially begin after the completion of her 3 day concert series “Kana Nishino Love Collection Live 2019”
The final day of the concert took place on February 3rd at the Yokohama Arena. Kana wrote on her Ameba blog that she couldn’t stop crying at the end of the show, but was glad to she to spend that time with her crew and fans creating “unforgettable memories”.
