Watch the sexy trailer for Shun Oguri & Erika Sawajiri’s “No Longer Human”

The trailer for the highly anticipated film “No Longer Human” (Ningen Shikkaku: Dazai Osamu to 3 Nin no Onnatachi) has been released! Leading the film are actors Shun Oguri and Erika Sawajiri. Rounding out the main cast is Fumi Nikaido and LEGEND Rie Miyazawa.

The film is based off of the true story of famed novelist Osamu Dazai, whom Shun plays. Osamu was extremely popular during the Showa era, with the height of his career happening in the post-war period of Japan, the late 40s. Mika Ninagawa is serving as the director.

Fairies make their long-awaited return with “Metropolis”

It’s been quite a while since avex girl group Fairies released a new single. Last we saw the girls released “HEY HEY ~Light Me Up~” back in February 2018.

The quintet is finally back over a year later with “Metropolis“. The single will be available in a CD only, CD+DVD, and CD+Blu-ray version. Solo member versions will also be available for purchase. Two b-sides will be included on the single called “Change My Life” and “Tell Me How You Feel”.

Johnny Kitagawa rushed to the hospital

It has been reported that the Johnny Kitagawa, the founder and president of Johnny & Associates, has been urgently rushed to the hospital.

The nature of the hospital visit, and the status of Johnny himself hasn’t been confirmed. Reports claim that he was transported to the hospital by ambulance. In the past tabloids have claimed that Johnny is suffering from an illness, but his office completely denies it.

Tomohisa Yamashita to star in global Hulu drama “THE HEAD”

Superstar Tomohisa Yamashita will be taking the lead in a brand new drama series called “THE HEAD“. This project is a jointly produced venture between Japan and Europe.

Filming will take place across Spain and Iceland, and it will be distributed in over 30 countries! The entire cast consists of Western actors and actresses, with Yamapi being the only Japanese actor involved with the project. He will be playing the role of a Japanese researcher.
