LAMP IN TERREN publish their Music Video for “White Like Me”

After a relatively quiet start to the year, alternative rock band LAMP IN TERREN released a new digital single, titled “White Like Me”, last week on July 17th. Now that a week has passed, the group have chosen to upload the track’s music video to their YouTube channel.

This PV, directed by Ryouji Aoki, contrasts scenes of the band performing together with solo shots of singer Dai Matsumoto. “White Like Me” was written for the group’s upcoming one-man live – “Moon Child” – at Tokyo’s Hibiya Open-Air Music Hall.

Akira Yuki wanders the woods in her Music Video for “Ippiki Ookami”

Following up on the release of her major debut single, “Tanjou ~Birthday~“, singer/songwriter Akira Yuki will be releasing a second on August 7th. Titled “Ippiki Ookami”, Yuki’s latest single will feature three newly written songs, with the lead track to be arranged by utaite sasanomaly.

Ahead of the single’s release date, the music video for “Ippiki Ookami” has been uploaded to her YouTube channel. The video, which is meant to evoke feelings of both isolation and anxiety, features Yuki trekking through the woods alone.

Arama! Japan Interviews CrazyBoy and Hiroomi Tosaka of Sandaime J Soul Brothers

Earlier this month, Arama! Japan ventured to Los Angeles to attend the music events “OTAQUEST LIVE” and “OTAQUEST KICKOFF.” The day before the events, a series of interviews took place at EXPG STUDIO LA BY LDH. The first of these interviews was with Yasutaka Nakata. It was followed by a joint interview with Sandaime J Soul Brothers members CrazyBoy and Hiroomi Tosaka. Check out Arama! VIDEOTAPEMUISC Collaborates with Takagi Shohei, Orisaka Yuta, and More on New Album

On July 24, VIDEOTAPEMUSIC will release his new album, “The Secret Life Of VIDEOTAPEMUSIC.” The album includes a slew of guests, including cero‘s Takagi Shohei, Orisaka Yuta, and Yokoyama Ken.

VIDEOTAPEMUSIC recently released the self-directed music video for his collaboration with mmm, “Summer We Know.” Check it out below, along with more information on his new album.

Soutaiseiriron to Release First Live Album

On July 24, Soutaiseiriron will release their first live album, “Shiraberu Soutaiseiriron.” This is the band’s first new release since their April 2016 album “Tensei Jingle.” “Shiraberu Soutaiseiriron” consists of ten tracks from Soutaiseiriron’s June 2016 concert at Nippon Budokan.

The album comes in four editions. The limited edition comes in a box with a t-shirt designed in collaboration with FACETASM and the album on CD or two disc vinyl set. The regular edition includes just the CD or just the two disc vinyl set.
