Official HIGE DANdism, King & Prince, Spitz, and More Perform on MUSIC STATION for October 18

Shiina Ringo Releases Music Video for “Kouzen no Himitsu”

On November 13, Shiina Ringo will release her first best album, “Newton no Ringo ~Hajimete no Best Ban~.” One of the new songs on the album, “Kouzen no Himitsu”, serves as the theme song for season three of the TV Asahi drama “Jikou Keisatsu.” Ringo has now released a music video for the song. The video was directed by Usui Hiroshi, who previously worked with Ringo on the videos for “Koko de Kiss Shite.”, “Kabukichou no Joou”, “Kofukuron”, and “Yattsuke Shigoto.” Check it out below!

Hoshino Gen Releases Music Video for “Same Thing”

On October 14, Hoshino Gen released his new digital single, “Same Thing”, worldwide. The English-language song is a collaboration with the British band Superorganism. Gen has now released the music video for the song. It was directed by him and Yamada Tomokazu. It features Gen and Superorganism hanging around a train station in the UK. Check it out below!

Hosts for the 70th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen Announced

We are nearing the end of 2019, so information on this year’s Kohaku Uta Gassen is starting to appear! The show will air on December 31, starting at 7:15 PM JST and ending at 11:45 PM JST.

Today, the hosts for this year’s Kohaku Uta Gassen were announced! Uchimura Teruyoshi will return as the show’s main host for the third consecutive year. Ayase Haruka will make her return to Kohaku as host for the red team. This is her third time hosting, and her first since 2015. Arashi‘s Sakurai Sho will serve as host for the white team for the second consecutive year.

Hinatazaka46, Mrs. GREEN APPLE, Yonezu Kenshi, and Official HIGE DANdism top the Billboard Japan Charts for the Week of 9/30 – 10/6

This week, Hinatazaka46 topped the Hot 100 single chart with their new single “Konna ni Suki ni Nachatte Ii no?”, with 31,818 points.

Mrs. GREEN APPLE topped the Hot Albums chart with their new album “Attitude.”

Official HIGE DANdism topped the Streaming Songs chart for the 20th consecutive week with their single “Pretender.”

Yonezu Kenshi topped the Download Songs chart for the eighth consecutive week with “Uma to Shika.”

Mrs. GREEN APPLE also topped the Download Albums chart with “Attitude.”

Ryo Nishikido to release his debut solo studio album “NOMAD”

Former Kanjani8 member and Johnny’s talent Ryo Nishikido is wasting no time with his newly found freedom!

His official last day as a Johnny’s talent was on September 30th, 2019. One day later on October 1st he announced the creation of his own indie record label “NOMAN RECORDS”, and nationwide tour.

Today Ryo announced the release of his very first solo studio album, appropriately titled “NOMAD” Due out on December 11th, 2019 the album will be released on his NOMAD label and contain 11 songs written and produced by the actor.
