NMB48, Official HIGE DANdism, and Arashi Top the Billboard Japan Charts for the Week of 11/4 – 11/10
This week, NMB48 topped the Hot 100 single chart with their new single “Hatsukoi Shijou Shugi”, with 16,900 points.
Official HIGE DANdism retook the top spot on the Hot Albums chart with their album “Traveler”, topping the chart for the second non-consecutive week.
Official HIGE DANdism also topped the Streaming Songs chart for the 25th consecutive week with their single “Pretender.”
Arashi topped the Download Songs chart for the second consecutive week with their digital single “Turning Up.”
Official HIGE DANdism also topped the Download Albums chart with “Traveler.”
On November 27, Nippon TV air will this year’s edition of its annual year end music special, Best Artist. The show will start at 7PM JST and end at 10:54 PM JST. Sakurai Sho will be hosting for the 11th consecutive year.
Best Artist 2019 will feature performances by the likes of Arashi, Foorin, EXILE, SEKAI NO OWARI, Perfume, and Superfly. See who else is performing below!

The trailer for the highly anticipated film “Wotaku ni Koi ha Muzukashii” ( Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku) has been released, and has made quite a splash on the internet.
The trailer uploaded by Oricon on YouTube has already surpassed 1 million views in just one day. Views from other YouTube official uploads, and other social media profiles bring the total views into the millions. Top actors Kento Yamazaki and Mitsuki Takahata take on the leading roles for Wotaku.
The moment dozens of people dreamed about has finally happened over the weekend. Legend Rola has met legend in the making Matt Kuwata! The two crossed paths at an event in Tokyo celebrating Elle magazine.
Upon meeting Rola, the jubilant Matt was moved to tears. He praised her saying she was a really beautiful woman with a lovey heart, and also has an angelic smile. Tell us something we don’t know! In the photo both of them have received the notorious “Matt processing” edit, but Rola still does look recognizable.
