Otome game Ozmafia!!  is receiving an English localization

Otome PC game Ozmafia!! is being translated into English. Crunchyroll discovered the announcement on the website of Poni-Pachet, the game’s developer.

More artists announced for SUMMER SONIC 2014

Another round of artists who will be performing at SUMMER SONIC 2014 has just been revealed!

The artists who have just been added to the event are Asriel, Kidori Kidori, the telephones, Denpagumi.inc, Passepied (N.Flying), LTK, Crossgene from Korea, and 3 Taiwanese artists. Denpagumi.inc, the telephones, and Crossgene will only be performing in Osaka, and Asriel, Kidori Kidori, Passepied, N.Flying, and LTK will only perform at Makuhari.

Publisher NIS America recently announced release dates for  Fairy Fencer F! The Compile Heart RPG will come out on September 23rd in North America and September 26th in Europe.

Kumicky to leave Popteen in September

Model Kumiko Funayama, known affectionately by her fans as Kumicky, announced in the August 2014 issue of Popteen that she will be “graduating” from the magazine this fall.

Artist line up for ‘FNS Uta no Natsu Matsuri’ revealed

On August 13th, at 7:00pm Fuji TV will air their summer music show, FNS Uta no Natsu Matsuri. So far, they have revealed the first and second round of artists that will appear on the music show. FNS Uta no Natsu Matsuri will be in it’s 3rd year this year. It is considered the summer version of FNS Kayousai which airs in December. The year’s show will feature many familiar faces such as JUJU, miwa and Momoiro Clover Z. However new acts have also joined the stage such as Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku and Team Syachihoko. As of right now, this year’s host has not be finalized though SMAP’s Kusanagi Tsuyoshi has co-hosted it in the past.

FEMM reveals ‘Fxxk Boyz Get Money’ PV

Pop duo, FEMM (short for FAR EAST MENTION MANNEQUINS) has recently dropped the music video for ‘Fxxk Boyz Get Money’. As part of a compilation album ‘TWERK ‘EM ALL’ (dropping July 23rd), the dance song has all the makings of a summer anthem.

In the music video, the two mannequins decked out in shiny black and white lolita clothes, they captivate viewers. Also featured is a twerking dance sequence between the mannequins. What makes the video even more enjoyable are the easy to follow lyrics that appear on screen.

Tomomi Itano’s Album ‘S×W×A×G’ Tracklist Revealed

A month ago Tomomi Itano (22) revealed the title of her 1st solo album, ‘S×W×A×G’. With a name like that you know the album is going to be and popping. True to it’s word, it doesn’t live down to expectations with tracks like ‘SWAGGALICIOUS’ and ‘BOW WOW’. The album will also include previously release singles from ‘Dear J’ to ‘little’.

The album will come in three editions: limited edition, regular edition and a special edition in collaboration with the brand Samantha Vega. The limited edition comes with a DVD while the Samantha Vega version is limited to Kings Records’ KING e-SHOP. The album will drop on July 2nd.

Itano will be doing a series of events in promotion of the album. These come in the form of handshake and live events, a live tour and a special Tomomi Itano x Samantha Vega event. Let’s hope that the this album does well on the charts, especially when going against some big acts.

Kanako Momota of Momoiro Clover Z appointed as Goodwill Ambassador

On June 25th Kanako Momota, leader of idol group Momoiro Clover Z, was appointed Goodwill Ambassador of Hamamatsu, Shizuoka prefecture. Momota is a Hamamatsu native, living near Hamamatsu Station with her parents and two brothers.

A ceremony led by mayor Yasutomo Suzuki was held in Hamamatsu City Hall where she was granted the honor on behalf of Hamamatsu citizens. In return, she will perform activities to help promote the city alongside the city mascot Ieyasu-kun whose design represents Hamamatsu’s local specialties with an eel on his head, a men’s formal divided skirt resembling a piano keyboard, and a mandarin orange as his family crest.
