w-inds. Opens Fan Club to International Members

Starting July 4th, the fan club of the trio w-inds. became available to fans overseas. ‘World w-inds. day‘ members will get access to an exclusive content-rich page (staff schedule, videos, photo galleries) that will supply them with all the latest updates concerning w-inds. from wherever you are around the globe in English.

Fans interested are encouraged to check out the official website and register. The fan club costs an annual fee of 2,200 yen (tax included) that can be paid through credit card.

The group is planning many exciting features and goodies to be available in future.

Ayumi Hamasaki fans excited over her recent curves

Singer Ayumi Hamasaki recently wowed nearly 11,500 fans at her latest Yoyogi Stadium First Gymnasium stop on her “ayumi hamasaki PREMIUM SHOWCASE ~Feel the love~” tour. The set list contained a bunch of her hits and new songs from her latest album ‘Colours‘ that came out earlier this week.

According to officials, “This will be the first year Hamasaki has not gone on a nation-wide tour.” Hamasaki has been known for her amazing live entertainment shows, but this time took the challenge of a “premium showcase” for this tour. She wants to put on a show that exceeds expectations making use of the newest technology and performance techniques. With 11 shows in 3 cities(Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya), the special spaces allow mechanisms only achievable at these locations. The singer whom many think her career is on its last limb is simply just trying new things with career.

NICO Touches the Walls’ ‘TOKYO Dreamer’ Chosen as 2nd Opening for Captain Earth

Jacket photos for rock band NICO Touches the Walls‘ upcoming single ‘TOKYO Dreamer‘ have been published. The single is planned for a August 20th release and will be used as the theme song for the anime Captain Earth, replacing flumpool’s ‘Believers High. This is the band’s third single this year.

Captain Earth is a suspenseful new mecha/science fiction anime produced by Bones about a high-school student that joins an organization to protect the Earth from invading alien forces.

Momoiro Clover Z jacket photos for ‘MOON PRIDE’

Jacket photos from Momoiro Clover Z‘s newest single have finally been released! ‘MOON PRIDE‘ will be available worldwide on July 30th to about 120 countries on the iTunes Music Store. It will features the ending and opening themes for the new Sailor Moon Crystal anime, both by Momoiro Clover Z.

Along with a gorgeously composed photo of the idol group, there is also an Anime illustration produced by Toei Animation of Sailor Moon Crystal’s main characters.

The first episode of ‘SAILOR MOON CRYSTAL’ was broadcasted today! Check out our post to find out how to watch it internationally. The first volume of the series will be available as Blu-ray/DVD boxset on October 15th just in time for the holiday season. The deluxe version includes a lot of goodies any dedicated fan would love to own.

Alice Hirose glares in new Eye City CM with GLAY

Actress Alice Hirose stars in new CM for contact store Eye City‘s ‘Eye love summer!’ campaign. It features new song by GLAY ‘BLEEZE’ that will be released July 9th.

The CMs were added to television commercial rotation on the 1st along with digital and transit signs. In the videos, Alice displays her intense glare for a high-impact video. It is available in both a 15 and 30 second version on the Eye City official YouTube Channel, or you can just check it out below. It features art direction by famed photographer Mika Ninagawa (Sakura, Helter Skelter).

Sailor Moon Crystal Watch/Discussion Post

To celebrate to airing of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal‘s first episode, we decided to have a watch post, also with links to watch the show. As you all know, that is the new Sailor Moon anime to be based more closely on the manga. Currently 26 episodes are set to air, with episodes coming out on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month. The opening and ending theme songs is sung by top idol group, Momoiro Clover Z.

The new series will premiere on July 5th, 2014, at 7 pm Japan time (6am ET, 3am PT). You can watch it on NicoNico, Hulu, NeonAlley and Cruncyroll. These will be the subbed episodes as it is not confirmed when a dubbed version will come out.
