Songbird Maro (Maroka Uchiyama) shed his soul while writing and recording his upcoming first album ‘FAKE’ to be released this October. To promote it, his plans are to take three songs and make music videos for them.
But as an independent artist under his own label, he needs the help of his fans through crowdfunding.
In his proposal, he talks about his life since his traumatic breakup with chanteuse Ayumi Hamasaki, why he has surrendered to crowdfunding and what funders get in return for their generous donations through Makuake by Ameba.

It has been announced that Chara and Insist will unite for a new collaboration single entitled ‘I don’t know‘.
The A-side is ‘I don’t know’ is inspired by 90’s R&B with singing from Chara and rapping from Insist’s MC Basi, while the coupling tracks are all mellow but groovy songs.
Chara previously worked with the band for a new version of her self-cover song ‘Junior Sweet’ released late last year. Since then, they have appeared at various festivals and live events together. Their performance style together is described as “an exquisite balance of both cute and wild”.
It was previously announced that Kanna Hashimoto from idol group Rev.from DVL has been cast in Fuji TV’s ‘Suikyuu Yankees’, starring Nakajima Yuto (Hey! Say! JUMP), with Yamazaki Kento and Takaki Yuya (Hey! Say! JUMP).
Hashimoto plays herself, a popular talent idolized by the characters known as the ‘Three Idiots’ (Baka Trio) in the drama played by Yudai Chiba, Taishi Nakagawa, and Ryo Yoshizawa. In previous episodes, her character only appeared through pictures, posters or music videos. Nicknamed as the ‘Too-Angelic Idol”, she will be marking her first appearance in the 6th episode of the drama to be aired on Saturday, August 23.

This is the much anticipated second part of the final installment for the Makoto Shishio arc, also known as the Kyoto Arc. We get to see a new character too as Masaharu Fukuyama appears as Kenshin’s teacher, the master Hiko Seijuro. Movie to be released in Japan on September 13.
