Arashi Dances to Ohno Satoshi’s Choreography in “Zero-G” PV

As previously reported, Arashi will be releasing their new album “THE DIGITALIAN” on October 22. The music video for the album lead song “Zero-G” has been released. Member Ohno Satoshi choreographed for the song, and the dance seems to incorporate a lot of hip thrusting and shaking- their move for the lyrics “Shake it, Shake your Body!”

Kanjani8 are heartbroken dolls and Clover Fairies in new PVs “Itta Janai Ka!” / “CloveR”

The full music videos for Kanjani8’s new double A-side single Itta Janai Ka!/ Clover is out. This is the group’s first single under Infinity Records after changing label from Teichiku Entertainment upon expiration of contract. Single was released last October 15.

Kanjani8 are heartbroken dolls as they sing Itta Janai Ka! (You Said!), putting some ridic hilarious twist to love rejection. Theme song to Nishikido Ryo’s “Gomen ne Seishun!” drama, the song is written by the drama’s scriptwriter Kudo Kankuro. The drama premiered last Sunday, and the theme song belts out during Nishikido’s character anguished heartbreak scene.

In some drastic image shift from the first PV, the group channels some 80’s for CloveR as they play Clover Fairies watching over people in their Clover…field. The song is theme song to Ohkura Tadayoshi’s romantic comedy movie of the same title.

KOKI’s band INKT announces debut album and previews “Trigger” full song

As previously reported, former KAT-TUN member Koki Tanaka, who will now go by the name KOKI, has formed a new band, INKT.  The group also includes former HIGH AND MIGHTY COLOR members mACKAz and SASSY. Recently, the band announced the release of their self-titled debut album INKT to hit stores on November 8.

The debut album will contain 10 tracks with lyrics all written by KOKI, and music composed by the other members: Kei (guitar), kissy (keyboard), mACKAz (bass) and SASSY (drums). The limited edition of the album will include the PVs of “Trigger” and “Zutto”.

After teasing with a short PV preview of “Trigger”, the full song has been previewed. Check out the band’s lead song below.

Che’Nelle previews 2nd physical single “Happiness”, theme song for “Dear Sister” Drama

Che’Nelle, a singer based in Los Angeles provides the theme song for the drama “Dear Sister” starring Ishihara Satomi and Matsushima Nao. She made her breakthrough in 2011 by covering Tee’s “Baby I Love You”.

This is the first time she has penned lyrics for a drama theme song. The drama is a love comedy about 2 sisters having opposite personalities. The drama’s producer Nakano Toshiyuki comments that theme song is able to “convey universal love of family and romance”.

Che’Nelle comments with delight “To be offered this great opportunity, I feel very happy and honored”. The song’s lryics is based on the sisters’ wish for each other’s happiness.

After releasing several digital singles, “Happiness” will be her second physical single to be released since “Story” in 2012. The single will be released on November 19. Check out the song’s preview below.

Actress Anna Nakagawa passes away at age 49

Actress Anna Nakagawa passed away on October 17th at 8:30am after a fight with uterine cancer. She was 49 years old. The wake and funeral will be held for close relatives only.

Nakagawa debuted in the film “Tonkou” in 1988 and she won a Japan Academy Award for Best New Actress. Starting in the 90s, Nakagawa spent most of her time acting in theatrical plays.

JKT48’s Ayana Shahab and Haruka Nakagawa get lost in Namba for 2 hours

On October 17th, Haruka Nakagawa (22) and Ayana Shahab (17) of JKT48 visited Osaka on behalf of Jakarta Tourism to accept the role of “Enjoy Jakarta Ambassadors” for the group.

Nakagawa explained that on the previous day she visited Namba for the first time. Shahab had lived in Osaka as a child, so she was going to take Nakagawa around. Instead the two got lost and roamed the city aimlessly for 2 hours. Eventually they made it to Namba Grand Kagetsu (NGK) where they were able to take a commemorative photo.

The girls commented, “The NMB48 theater is on the other side of NGK. Next time it would be nice if we could collaborate with NMB and help spread the word about Jakarta.

Former ‘Idoling!!!’ member Mira Takiguchi gives birth to baby boy

Former Idoling!!! Member, talent, and columnist, Mira Takiguchi (25), delivered her first child at a hospital in Sendai. The information about her new baby boy was faxed to news agencies via her company.

Last November Takiguchi married professional baseball player Makoto Moriyama (33). Moriyama was there during the birth and reveals that mother and child are doing well.

Takiguchi posted on her official blog, “Today I safely was able to welcome new life to this world. I was able to do this thanks to my ever supportive fans and my close friends and family. Thank you all so much”.
