Hi Arama!
Polls were there on the old site and now I’m bringing them back! There are a lot of mixed men in the Japanese entertainment world (especially EXILE TRIBE members) so let’s vote on who is the most handsome!
As this is only part one, please check out part two as well.
Of course, a female edition is coming soon as well!
On September 16, Thelma Aoyama will release her new mini album, “GRAY SMOKE.” This is her first release since her album “Lonely Angel” last August. “GRAY SMOKE” has a male theme, and aims to depict “a man who lives in the gray zone.” To accomplish this, Thelma has enlisted an all male cast of collaborators. Those collaborators include Shota Shimizu, Furuya Kenji of Dragon Ash, SWAY of DOBERMAN INFINITY, and ANARCHY. Check out the cover and tracklist for “GRAY SMOKE” after the jump!
The two songstresses who represent Japan: Namie Amuro (37) and Ayumi Hamasaki (36). The two of them shared popularity during the “Golden Era of J-Pop” and both are still active as artists but women’s reactions on the net couldn’t be any more different.
Namie Amuro, who released her new album “_genic” this June, is still immensely popular among women in their 30s. When the PV for “Stranger” from the same album was released, a lot of “Girls Channel” users praised her for her good looks and performance:
“Wow, she’s so pretty and sexy”
“Her legs are so pretty”
“Even I who’s considerably younger than her look up to her. If you don’t put a lot of effort in it, you won’t become like that, right? I need to do my best too!”
“This time she gives off an appropriate impression for her age, in a good way! I want Amuro-chan to never change!”
“She’s cute, cool and sexy! It’s like she’s getting prettier with each coming year!”
“She doesn’t appear on TV or variety very often. Because you can really only see her at concerts and in her PVs, she’s fascinating. She’s like a being that you can’t reach, like a flower on a high peak!”
On October 24, the film “TRASH” will be released in theaters nationwide. “TRASH” marks the first time that ELLY of Sandaime J Soul Brothers will play the lead role in a movie. Nakamura Yuri plays his ex-girlfriend, with Yagi Masayasu (of Gekidan EXILE), Amano Kosei, Endo Yuya, and Endo Kaname rounding out the main cast.
The theme song for the movie is called “CLAPTIME.” It’s a solo song by ELLY. It can be heard in the trailer for the film, which was released today. Check it out after the jump!
For quite a while now, Jin Akanishi (31), Tomohisa Yamashita (30) and Ryo Nishikido (30) were an inseparable group, commonly known as the “Akanishi Squad”.
Last June, the three of them got into trouble with a girl in Roppongi, Tokyo when said girl’s phone was stolen. The story blew up in newspapers and on the web.
Controversially, it is said that the squad considers this something “to be proud of”.
