It was announced that King & Prince member Hirano Sho will star in a special drama as part of NTV’s annual 24 HOUR TELEVISION / LOVE SAVES THE EARTH telethon on August 21 – 22. King & Prince was previously announced to perform as the main personality of the popular charity program for this year.
We are now at the midpoint of 2020, meaning that mid-year charts are here! Oricon has released its charts for the first half of 2021! This chart covers the period from 12/14/20 to 6/13/21.
Snow Man is the best selling artist of the year so far, while Ado is the best selling new artist of the year so far.
Snow Man also topped the Combined Single and Single charts with their single “Grandeur.”
SixTONES topped the Combined Album and Album charts with their debut album “1ST.”
Ado‘s “Usseewa” topped the Digital Single chart, while YOASOBI’s debut mini album “THE BOOK” also topped the Digital Album chart. Yuuri‘s “Dry Flower” topped the Streaming chart.
Utada Hikaru is the new face of Shiseido! They are the face of the brand’s new global “POWER IS YOU” campaign, along with American soccer player Megan Rapinoe and Spanish actress Ursula Corbero.
Utada’s new song “Find Love” serves as the campaign song for “POWER IS YOU.” It is their first English language song since 2019’s “Face My Fears.”
Shiseido has released released two commercials for their new campaign so far. One features Utada and Ursula, while another longer one features Utada alone. An English language interview with Utada has also been released, one in which they touch on gender. Check out the videos below!
