On October 21, Hitomitoi will release her new album, “THE MEMORY HOTEL.” Ahead of the album’s release, she’s now released the music video for “Labyrinth ~Kaze no Machi de~.” It is the closing track on “THE MEMORY HOTEL.” The dreamy clip focus around Hitomitoi and a mysterious male figure roaming sand dunes along the seashore. On October 7, Base Ball Bear releases their new single, “Fushigi na Yoru.” This is the third of 3 singles that the band is releasing over the course of 3 months. Today, Base Ball Bear released the music video for the funky song.
Base Ball Bear also recently announced that they will be releasing their new album, “C2”, on November 11. The album will come in 2 editions: a 3CD Limited Edition and a CD only Regular Edition. The second CD of the Limited Edition will contain the album in instrumental form, while the third CD will contain newly remastered older songs.

As we reported earlier, singer/songwriter Yonezu Kenshi released his third full album “Bremen” this week on October 7th. In order to coincide with this release, he has now published the music video for the album’s second lead track “Metronome” to his official Youtube channel.
Metronome’s PV consists of a series of drawings created and animated by Yonezu himself, the soothing song set to these 200+ scrolling and flickering images. Of note, this is the first time that Yonezu has produced a music video on his own since he did the same for “Eine Kleine” back in March of 2014.

Popular rock band Mr.Children recently announced that they will be holding a special “2-Man” Zepp Tour in November. This will be Mr.Children’s third live tour this year, following their “REFLECTION” Arena Tour (March-June) and “Mikan” Stadium Tour (July-September) which combined managed to mobilize more than 1 million concertgoers.
Unlike the previous two tours however, this shorter series of shows will see the band take the stage with five other acts, including notable names like Quruli and ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION.

Hayashibara Megumi will sing the opening theme song for the new MBS anime “Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju.” The anime will premiere in January 2016. The song is written, composed, and arranged by Shiina Ringo. “Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju” is adapted from the historical manga by Kumota Haruko of the same name.
It has been announced that Superfly will release her 20th single “Kuroi Shizuku & Coupling Songs: ‘Side B’” on December 2.
This special single is a three disc set: Disc 1 is her 20th single “Kuroi Shizuku”, Disc 2 is a B-side best album titled “Coupling Songs: ‘Side B’ and Disc 3 is a DVD with footage of her free live performance in Osaka earlier this year. Disc 3 will only be available on the first press edition.
Superfly has previously released “Wildflower & Cover Songs: Complete Best ‘Track 3′” in 2010, another 3-disc single to commemorate her 10th single since her debut.

Nishino Kana continues her reign at the top of Recochoku for the fourth week in a row with “Torisetsu.”
The song also topped iTunes for the third week in a row.
Kana’s “Torisetsu” also topped the montly Recochoku chart for September.
Today, it was announced that vocalist Ichiki Kyoka will be leaving E-girls, as well as her group within E-girls, Flower. Kyoka is not only leaving E-girls and Flower, but she’s also retiring from the entertainment industry to live life as a regular girl. The other members of Flower had a hard time coming to terms with Kyoka’s decision, but accepted it in the end. Flower will continue on as a 6-member group, with Washio Reina as their only vocalist.
