EXILE to Release New Single “Ki・mi・ni・mu・chu”

On December 9, EXILE will release their new single, “Ki・mi・ni・mu・chu.” Ahead of its physical release, the song will have a digital release on November 11. “Ki・mi・ni・mu・chu”, which was written by ATSUSHI, is the CM song for Suntory’s beer The MALT’s. Various members of EXILE TRIBE star in the commercials. With this song, ATSUSHI hopes that listeners will be able to forget their daily stresses. “Ki・mi・ni・mu・chu” is the last release that will feature members USA, MAKIDAI, and MATSU. A few months ago, it was reported that the 3 would be leaving the group by the end of the year to focus on other projects.

As a farewell to USA, MAKIDAI, and MATSU, the covers for “Ki・mi・ni・mu・chu” feature the soon to be former members front and center. These covers are different for EXILE because the members are smiling instead of having their usual tough look. Check them out after the jump, along with more information on the single.

Suiyoubi no Campanella Goes Back to the Asuka Period with “Ono no Imoko” PV

On November 11, Suiyoubi no Campanella will release their new album, “Zipang.” Today, they released the music video for the album’s 8th track, “Ono no Imoko.” In keeping with their use of historical references, “Ono no Imoko” is named after the famed politician and diplomat of the Asuka Period. He worked for Japan’s rulers during the late 6th and early 7th centuries. In the clip, Suiyoubi no Campanella’s frontwoman Koumai wanders around a field before coming across a man dressed as Ono no Imoko (played by Yamada Takayuki), along with his staff. Dancing ensues and Koumai soon has facial hair that mirrors that of Ono no Imoko’s. Check it out after the jump, along with the album’s tracklist!
