The short version of Namie Amuro‘s newest video “Dear Diary” has been released to her official YouTube channel.
A heartfelt ballad that looks to answer humanity’s hesitation towards conflict, the music video features an impressive scene of huge glass bottles drifting off the coast, where Amuro looks longingly out towards them.
The visual feast was directed by Ryouhei Shingu, who previously worked with Amuro on the music video for NHK’s official 2016 Summer Olympic and Paralympic theme song “Hero” released earlier this year.

Last month we reported that popular rock band back number will be releasing a new single titled “Happy End” on November 16th. It has now been revealed that the lead track will be serving as the theme song for film “Boku wa Ashita, Kinou no Kimi to Date Suru”, which will premiere in Japanese theaters a month later on December 17th.
In addition, the group have also unveiled all of the remaining details about the single and even uploaded the short version of its music video to their label’s official Youtube channel. The PV for this sad song stars actress Erika Karata and contrasts these lovingly recorded moments with shots of the band performing amidst the ruins of a hospital.
Finally, back number will be releasing their first, as-yet-untitled best album on December 28th of this year. Though few details have been published about this particular release yet, expect further updates in the future as the information becomes available.
Read on below for a look at the PV for “Happy End”, as well as the single’s cover and complete track list.
It’s been over a year since CIADA had released their first full album ‘Bedroom‘ (and half a year since their E.P. ‘Loud Colors‘). Yesterday the band put their newest track ‘One‘ on their soundcloud; ahead of their second album’s, ‘Formula‘, release. As the title of the articled hinted at, the melo-track is heavily hip-hop influenced. With some slight notes of jazz, lead singer Akiko Kido raps over the backing track. Even though it is a very calming song, don’t let it fool you; it can hold it’s own weight.
In the Northern Hemisphere the population is preparing for sweater weather and clothing giant Uniqlo would like to give an alternative to those looking for something else other than popular pullover; fleece. Their new CM campaign highlights the fun you can have in the great outdoors wearing their fleece and the style that can be yours, if you so choose. Their fleece jackets aren’t the only stars of the CM. Rock-band Frederick also appears in the ad sporting the promoted attire while playing ‘Odorupu‘, a new song off their upcoming full-length album; which is used as the commercial’s theme song. Another feature of the CM that has caught the interest of those who’ve seen it is the ‘odometer loop dance‘ that the band and actors perform through out the ad.
