Singer Namie Amuro has joined forces with 7-11 for their upcoming Christmas campaign. A brand new song titled “Christmas Wish” has been recorded for the project. A special music card of the song will be sold exclusively at 7-11, it will be the only way to purchase “Christmas Wish”. While supplies last a special poster will also be given to customers who purchase one of the new Christmas cakes featured in the campaign. “Christmas Wish” will allegedly *Wendy Williams voice* not be distributed on any future singles or albums. The only way to ever buy/own the song is to do so during the campaign.
In addition to this two new limited edition goods have been revealed for Namie’s current “LIVE STYLE 2016-2017” tour. An extravagant pop-up Christmas card priced at 1,700 yen and a holiday themed t-shirt priced at 4,000 yen. The first ever Japanese Akita dogs idol group “MOFU MOFU☆DOGS” has officially made their mark on the idol world, with their debut single “Waiting4U – We’ll let you MOFU MOFU Us”
The group was created with the help of Akita Inu Tourism, northern Akita is renowned worldwide as the birth place for the very loyal and beautiful breed of Akita dogs. The music video showcases food, beautiful scenery, and the unique cultural aspects that can only be found in the northern Akita Prefecture. The song title “Waiting4U…” represents the loyalty of the Japanese Akita, as well as the local people patiently awaiting visitors from all over the world just as the famous Hachiko waited for its owner.

Months after the departure of Ladybeard, The Idol Formerly Known as LADYBABY have finally released the short version of their new video “Sanpai!Gosyuin girl☆“. Like previous LADYBABY songs, the video focuses on a particular aspect of Japanese culture- this time the proper etiquette of temple visitation. Musically, there is somewhat of a departure from the more over-the-top and silly style of the previous group- but the mesh of idol pop and metal is still quite prevalent.
