The next Getsu9 drama will star Mariya Nishiuchi and Ryuta Yamamura, the lead vocalist of flumpool. This is a milestone for the two talents as Mariya will lead her first Getsu9 and Ryuta will make his acting debut. Broadcasting of “Totsuzen Desu Ga Ashita Kekkon Shimasu” (Even Though It’s Sudden, We’re Getting Married Tomorrow) will begin on January 23rd.

On December 9, Utada Hikaru held a live internet event titled “Sanjudai wa Hodohodo.” During the nearly hour-long show, she answered fans’ questions and performed. KOHH and PUNPEE joined Utada on “Sanjudai wa Hodohodo.” After releasing a digest video earlier this week, Utada has released the full show on her official site. Visual Kei band DaizyStripper has announced a new single titled “Amakara” and a new album titled “Home” on January 11. The album will have two versions; one with a DVD and one with live CD. The single and album was revealed with the band’s tenth anniversary project “decade”.

BTOB topped the Oricon album chart with their new album “24/7”, selling 26,802 copies in its first week.
Utada Hikaru reclaimed the top spot on the Oricon digital album chart with “Fantôme”, selling 3,090 copies in the chart’s sixth week.
On February 8, Suiyoubi no Campanella will release their first full major label album, “SUPERMAN.” The album is composed of some new songs along with some previously released ones. One of the previously released ones is “Kamehameha Daio.” The song first appeared on the group’s November digital single “SUPERKID.” The song is named after the Hawaiian king, and in continuing with this theme is set on a tropical island. Frontwoman KOM_I is trapped in a statue base of sorts in this trippy locale. Check out the video below!
