We are back with an updated list of our previous Upcoming Jdramas 2017 post. Again, several of these dramas are still in the ‘rumored’ stage sourced from tabloids. We’ll get confirmation of spring dramas in the next few weeks, so this will be the last update of this list.

Sandaime J Soul Brothers’ best album “THE JSB WORLD” tracklist details

As outlined in the announced LDH 2017 projects, THE JSB WORLD is the upcoming second best album release by Sandaime J Soul Brothers from EXILE TRIBE. The album will be released on March 29, and will come in three editions: 3CD+2Blu-ray, 3CD+2DVD and a 3CD edition.

A total of 46 songs are included, from their debut single “Best Friend’s Girl” released in 2010 to their latest new single “HAPPY” to be released on March 8. Moreover, the music videos of 33 songs running more than 3 hours are recorded! The music video of “J.S.B. LOVE” from the new single “HAPPY” is included for the first time!!. “Sorani Sumu ~Living in your sky~” previously only included on the book Sora ni Sumu released by lyricist Odake Masato in 2013 will also be included.

Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku’s Rina Matsuno passes away at age 18

Fuji TV series “FNN Speak” has reported Rina Matsuno (18) of popular idol group Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku has passed away.

Matsuno began her career as an idol in 2009 as a member of Minitia Bears under Stardust Promotion. In 2010, she transferred within her agency and became a member of Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku.

Absent from her activities on February 7, Matsuno was being treated at home when her condition suddenly worsened and was emergency transported to the hospital that night.

Matsuno was confirmed to have passed away today on February 8 at 5 AM JST. The details of her illness have not yet been confirmed.

Perfume serves a luminous MV with “TOKYO GIRL” (complete ver.)

Perfume is putting Tokyo in the spotlight in a bright and sparkling music video for their 23rd upcoming single “TOKYO GIRL“.

The set is a nightly Tokyo city, literally being highlighted by mysterious strangers spreading triangular-shaped luminous crystal throughout the whole city.

Miliyah Kato releases visuals for Doko Made mo ~How Far I’ll Go~ from Disney’s Moana

Singer Miliyah Kato has released the visuals for her 38th single, Doko Made mo ~How Far I’ll Go~. The title track is the Japanese version of How Far I’ll Go from Disney’s blockbuster film Moana When asked about singing for Moana Miliyah was ecstatic, in her 12 year history as a singer this is her first Disney tie-in and like many she’s a big fan of the company. Wanting to showcase Moana’s thoughts and feelings to the fullest, Miliyah recorded the song with the mindset “I am Moana”. A few years ago Let It Go from Frozen took Japan by storm, will How Far I’ll Go be able to do the same?

Doko Made mo ~How Far I’ll Go~ will be released on March 1st, 2017, while Moana will hit Japanese theaters nationwide on March 10th, 2017. Covers and tracklist can be found below.
