Singer ASKA (59) recently confessed to an incident that occurred overseas 20 years ago on his blog.
After a long photo shoot ASKA came back to the hotel he was staying at where he asked the front desk for a massage. That night a woman came to his hotel room, but he had trouble communicating with her in English. ASKA followed the woman’s gestures, and unwillingly stripped down to his underwear. However, this isn’t the night that the incident occurred. Since ASKA still had tension in his shoulders, the next day he asked the front desk if he could have a man give him a message.
“I am a product that is no longer wanted”, began a blog post written by Ayumi Hamasaki. In light of her disastrous performance on yesterday’s episode of Music Station, she’s decided to call it quits on her career. It’s been reported that Avex begged Music Station’s producers to let her on yesterday’s three hour special, in an effort to boost her sagging career. That plan certainly backfired.
“I’d rather watch KPop than this!”, wrote one commenter on Girls Channel. “Why wasn’t Arashi on instead of this sad old lady?”, read one tweet. One 2ch user wrote, “I saw Ayumi perform 15 years ago, and it was the best concert I’ve ever been to! Last night’s performance was like a cheap Chinese knockoff of a luxury good!”
This week’s guests were The Gospellers, Fujiwara Sakura, SPYAIR, Apink, and Fairies.

On April 12, the Erika Sawajiri-starring dorama “Haha ni Naru” will begin airing. The story is about a boy who had been abducted for 9 years reuniting with his mother (played by Sawajiri). Namie Amuro has been announced to perform the theme song, “Just You and I”. According to the singer, the song deals with “the selfless love for the significant other, in which the true strength is rooted” and she is glad it resonated with the dorama’s plot well.
This is not the first time the names of Amuro and Sawajiri are stuck together as the former also provided the theme song for First Class 2.
