This week, THE IDOLM@STER topped the Oricon single chart with their new single “THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS LITTLE STARS! Etude wa 1 Kyoku Dake”, selling 37,437 copies in its first week.
Nogizaka46 topped the Oricon album chart their new album “Umarete Kara Hajimete Mita Yume”, selling 342,487 copies in its first week.
Mr.Children topped the Oricon digital album chart for the third week in a row with their digital-only best album “Mr.Children 1992-2002 Thanksgiving 25”, selling 7,762 copies in its third week.
For long-term Shiina Ringo fans, the last few years have been quite a slog. While her commercial success and market relevance are of no question, it’s been very testing for some of her followers to stay on-board. Having to survive on only little breadcrumbs or tastes of her music in the form of CM tie-ins or songs written for other artists, the test of faith in the fandom has been an arduous one to say the least. However, finally something has come along that’s more than just a nugget of material- a new DVD/Blu Ray set that offers TWO discs of live footage- and let’s face it- at the current moment in time, Shiina Ringo’s live work is the closest semblance of what Shiina Ringo fans know and love.
Just over one year after their sophomore record, “fam fam“, Surf-Rock outfit never young beach have announced their followup album “A GOOD TIME” due out this July.
It will feature 9 songs in total, including “Summer Doki Doki“, which was released as a limited edition 7” last year. It will also feature the lead single “SURELY” and “Kimochii Kaze ga Fuitan desu“, which are being released a month earlier on a 7” single and are currently being played at live shows.
This album marks the first major label recording from the group, jumping to Speedstar Records. It will be available in two versions, CD only and CD+DVD. The DVD features one hour of live recording from their “ONE MAN TOUR “April O’Neil” 2017.4.8@LIQUIDROOM“. Keep reading to see album information including cover and tracklist!

In the latest issue of FRIDAY, the weekly gossip magazine alleges that actor Tetsushi Tanaka (51) has been having a little fun with another woman while his wife Yukie Nakama (37) has been filming a project overseas.
Tanaka and the alleged mistress, who is simply described by her career as a hairstylist, were spotted walking together and holding hands on a quiet street in a luxury residential neighborhood.

Ahead of his new album “Here I Stand” slated for release on June 21, R&B singer-songwriter JAY’ED has uploaded a music video for new song “The Paradise“!
“The Paradise” is a slick performance-focused video featuring a suited-up JAY’ED. The song, which will act as the first track of the album, has also been chosen as the ending song for Fuji TV’s “Sakigake! MUSIC” for the month of June 2017.
The new album includes songs featuring PKCZ®, Ryuji Imaichi (Sandaime J Soul Brothers from EXILE TRIBE), DOBERMAN INFINITY, Crystal Kay and AKLO. Additionally, a newly arranged version of “Zutto Issho” and a solo self-cover of “Ashita ga Kuru nara“, released in 2009 with JUJU, will also be included.
