On March 9, Perfume will release their new single, “Flow.” The song serves as the theme song for the TBS drama “Fight Song.” This marks the first time in 11 years that a Perfume song has been a TBS drama theme song. The last song to be used was “Spice”, for the drama “Sengyo Shufu Tantei ~Watashi wa Shadow.”

“Flow”, which was written for “Fight Song”, is a song for today, an elusive era in which there is distance between people, similar to clouds in the sky.

The single’s B-side is the song “Mawaru Kagami.” The song was first heard at Perfume’s August concert “Perfume LIVE 2021 [polygon wave]”, which was held at Yokohama’s Pia Arena MM. The song was untitled at the time, but not anymore.

“Flow” will be released in three editions: CD+Blu-ray limited edition A, CD+DVD limited edition B, and CD only regular edition. The second disc of the limited editions will include the performance of “Mawaru Kagami” from “Perfume LIVE 2021 [polygon wave]” and behind the scenes footage from the January concert “Perfume LIVE 2022 [polygon wave].”

In related news, Perfume will release their new album early this summer. This will be their first new album since August 2018’s “Future Pop.”

Seiko Matsuda’s official website has announced a brand new set of concerts scheduled for April 2022. “SEIKO MATSUDA Premium Dinner Show 2022” will take place at the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa located in Tokyo, she will be holding two back-to-back shows on April 9th and April 10th.

These shows were previously scheduled for December 2021, but were cancelled along with many other public appearances due to the sudden death of her daughter Sayaka Kanda.

Actor couple Toma Ikuta and Nana Seino have welcomed their very first child together! The two made the news public in a very simple joint statement to media outlets.
