Nearly six months after the release of their previous single, rock band [Alexandros] have announced that they will finally be releasing a new one on May 23rd.  Titled “KABUTO”, the A-side has been described as a song which represents the group’s current creative influences.

In addition, this release will also include the band’s Tokyo Metro CM song “Hana Uta” as a B-side.  This somber, reflective track was arranged by Takeshi Kobayashi and features lyrics written by Japanese poet Tahi Saihate.

You’ll find the cover and track list for “KABUTO”, as well as a radio rip of “Hana Uta” if you read on below.

Straightener reveal all of the details about their upcoming Album “Future Soundtrack”

Back in February we reported that alt. rockers Straightener would be releasing a new studio album on May 23rd.  Now that this date has drawn closer, the group have chosen to publish all of the details regarding the release online.

The new record will be titled “Future Soundtrack” and include the group’s previously released songs “Akari”, “The Future Is Now”, “Time Leap”, “Boy Friend”, and “Tsuki ni Yomu Tegami”, as well as six new tracks for a total of 11.  Its Limited Edition will come packaged with a DVD containing footage of the band’s “STRAIGHTENER MANIA” live show at Studio Coast from this past February.

Odotte Bakari no Kuni to release their Fifth Full-Length Album “Kimi no Tame ni Ikite Iku ne”

Psychedelic rock band Odotte Bakari no Kuni will be releasing their latest studio album this week on April 18th.  Their first full-length album in three years, “Kimi no Tame ni Ikite Iku ne” will include a whopping 15 new songs from the group, plus an additional bonus track for a total of 16.

In support of this upcoming release, the band have uploaded music videos for tracks “Melody” and “Cycling Road” to their label’s Youtube channel.  The former finds the group visiting the shore underneath a glittering technicolor sheen, while the latter focuses on the members riding bikes, scooters, and other modes of transportation along a winding road.

You’ll find both of these PVs, plus the cover and track list for “Kimi no Tame ni Ikite Iku ne” right after the jump.

Kuuki Koudan to release their first Album as a trio in May

Soft rock band Kuuki Koudan recently revealed that they will be releasing a brand new full-length album titled “Boku no Kokoro ni Machi ga Dekite” next month on May 23rd.  Coming nearly two years after the group’s previous set “Double”, this new record will be their first since downsizing to three members.

“Boku no Kokoro ni Machi ga Dekite” will include ten new songs from the band, who have eschewed their usual troupe of session musicians in favor of performing, mixing, and producing the album themselves.  In conjunction with this announcement, the group have also uploaded the short music video for the release’s closing track “Utsuroiyuku Machi de” to Space Shower’s Youtube channel.

Read on below to find both this music video and the track list for Kuuki Koudan’s upcoming album.
