Actress Yui Aragaki is the star of a brand new CM for Kleenex, it will begin to air in Japan nationwide today on May 8th, 2018.

In the CM Aragaki becomes “Yu sensei”, a kindergarten teacher. A small boy, one of her students, has a runny nose and she quickly comes to his aid by handing him a kleenex. Unable to blow his nose by himself, she gently helps him out.

BABYMETAL has heard the cries of their fans! After what seemed like an eternity, the girls finally dropped a brand new single just ahead of their 2018 world tour.

Titled Distortion, the song is available for digital download or streaming on all your favorite services including iTunes, Apple Music, and Spotify.   

Back in March Mika Nakashima released her 44th single KISS OF DEATH.

The song was produced by the L’Arc~en~Ciel/VAMPS frontman HYDE, and was used as the official theme song to the hit anime series Darling in the Franxx.

Numerous Japanese publications are reporting on the supposed relationship between former AKB48 ace Atsuko Maeda and actor Ryo Katsuji.

The two previously crossed paths on the 2015 NTV drama series Dokonjo Gaeru, where both of them had leading roles. The two friends, and remained that way for quite a while but both Maeda and Katsuji eventually started to have stronger feelings for each other.

This week, Nogizaka46 topped the Oricon single chart with their new single “Synchronicity”, selling 1,116,852 copies in its first week.

Kis-My-Ft2 topped the Oricon album chart with their new album “Yummy!”, selling 217,328 copies in its first week.

Utada Hikaru topped the Oricon digital single chart with her new single “Play A Love Song”, selling 34,966 copies in its first week.

Wagakki Band topped the Oricon digital album chart with their new album “Otonoe”, selling 2,528 copies in its first week.

The sole remaining female AAA member Misako Uno has announced the release of her 2nd solo single Summer Mermaid.

Earlier in the year back in February, she made her solo debut with the single Doushite Koishite Konna.
