On July 7, the sixth edition of Nippon TV’s mid-year music special, “THE MUSIC DAY”, will air. This year’s show is subtitled “Tsutaetai Uta.” The show will start at noon JST that day and run for about 11 hours. Arashi’s Sakurai Sho will serve as host for the show, just how he has in previous years.
About 70 acts will appear on “THE MUSIC DAY Tsutaetai Uta”, singing a mixture of new and old songs. The show will feature ten special medleys. Husky voices will feature in the “Husky Voice Medley”, while songs about the the starry night sky will be part of the “Hoshizora Song Medley.” The bubble era of the late 80s and early 90s will be celebrated in the “Bubble Song Medley”, while Johnny & Associates will pay tribute to the soon to end Heisei era with the “Johnny’s Heisei 30 Nenkan Medley”, which will feature shuffle units.
Performers on “THE MUSIC DAY Tsutaetai Uta” include the likes of Arashi, Koda Kumi, Masaharu Fukuyama, Onyanko Club, ayaka, SEKAI NO OWARI, Nogizaka46, and Sandaime J Soul Brothers. See who else is performing below!
Actress Yu Yamada is being criticized for a post she made on her official Instagam account, following a serious earthquake that just hit Osaka.
On Monday morning during rush hour a 5.3 magnitude Earthquake shook Osaka at around 8:00 AM. The earthquake was severe enough to make it difficult to remain standing. Five deaths were reported so far.
A 66 year-old man was found tragically buried my books inside his home, while three 80+ year old seniors were also victims. A 9 year-old girl was also killed after she became trapped in a damaged wall while swimming at her school. The government has reported that over 200 people were injured.

Singer Koda Kumi has finally revealed further details on her upcoming studio album “DNA“.
This is actually the second album for release for Koda this year, back in February 28th she released her 15th album “AND”. The covers for “DNA” are very similar to it’s predecessor, she reused the exact same props to spell out “DNA”.
