Earlier on, Shibutani Subaru announced that will be leaving Kanjani8 and Johnnys & Associates by the end of the year. As that time approaches, announcements for his “last” appearances and stages with the group have been announced. Kanjani8’s crown variety shows has lined up their final broadcast dates with Subaru and their SP contents. It is expected that these will be emotional especially for fans, but the episodes also promises a lot of fun.

It is not yet confirmed when Subaru will be conducting his last live performance with Kanjani8 but the group is scheduled for Music Station SP for July 6 and will most likely be his last appearance with the group for the said show.

Catch the full trailer for the highly anticipated face off between Kimura Takuya and Ninomiya Kazunari in the movie “Kensatsugawa no Zainin” (Killing for the Prosecution). Kimura and Ninomiya play public prosecutors in the movie who are pushed to confrontation due to a certain incident. Rage, tears, and other emotions are at play in the new trailer. A new poster visual is also released. The film opens August 24.

Based on the 2013 novel by Shizukui Shusuke that tackles statute of limitations, false charges and the profound theme “What is justice?”, the movie is directed by Harada Masato (Japan’s Longest Day, Kakekomi, Sekigahara). Joining them are Yoshitaka Yuriko, Matsushige Yutaka, Hira Takehiro, Ookura Koji, Yashima Norito, Otoo Takuma, Sakou Yoshi, and Yamazaki Tsutomu.

On June 29th, visual kei band the GazettE released a statement on their official website, announcing that the five-member band has established their own management company, HERESY Inc. The band has left their record label of 15 years, PS Company, in the process. The reasons for the departure are yet to be confirmed.
