On July 18, D.A.N. will release their second album, “Sonatine.” There will be nine songs on the album, including “Chance”, which was released earlier this year. On July 18, TOWA TEI will release a new album under his psuedonym Sweet Robots Against The Machine, “3.” This is the first new Sweet Robots Against The Machine album since 2002’s “TOWA TEI.” Sunahara Yoshinori and Bakarhythm will join TOWA TEI for this album as producers, as the picture above indicates. Bakarhythm will also perform a duet on the album with Aso Kumiko, “Suterarenai Machikado.” Kaho will sing two songs on the album, “Dakitime” and “Animal.” Check out Kaho in the recently released video for “Dakitime” below, along with more information on Sweet Robots Against The Machine’s new album!
On July 18, indigo la End will release their fourth major label album, “PULSATE.” The album will include the previously released songs “Touya no Magic”, “Play Back End Roll”, and “Haru no Iutoori.” “PULSATE” will have 11 songs in total, including two remixes of songs from previous albums, courtesty of HVNS and Metome.
The limited editon of “PULSATE” will include a DVD featuring footage from indigo la End’s April 13 concert at Tokyo’s Nakano Sun Plaza.
In related news, frontman Kawatani Enon will make his acting debut in the TV Tokyo drama “Koi no Tsuki” on July 26.

Perfume are currently gearing up for the release of their 7th studio album “FUTURE POP“
The girls recently debuted a brand new song titled “Let Me Know” on their radio show to the excitement of fans. When audio was released however, Perfume’s fanbase seemed to be split in the middle.

This week, SKE48 topped the Oricon single chart with their new single “Ikinari Punch Line”, selling 240,126 copies in its first week.
UraShimaSakataSen topped the Oricon album chart with their new album “V-enus”, selling 55,364 copies in its first week.
Yonezu Kenshi topped the Oricon digital single chart for the 14th non-consecutive week with his single “Lemon”, selling 25,224 copies in its 21st week.
Utada Hikaru topped the Oricon digital album chart for the second consecutive week with her album “Hatsukoi”, selling 12,691 copies in its second week.
KOM_I the front woman of the popular alternative band Suiyoubi no Campanella is hitting the press rounds promoting her photobook titled ““Gekkan KOM_I – Uso Sashin Nikaido Fumi”
At a recent press conference the singer talked about her experience shooting the photobook, along with the revelation that she is dating a man from Ireland.
KOM_I’s relationship with the unnamed man has been going steady, the two originally met at a New Year’s Eve party in December 2017. It’s unknown whether or not he’s based in Japan, Ireland, or both!
Vickeblanka concluded his one-man “ULALA TOUR” on Friday, June 29th at Tokyo Tsutaya O-East. Blanka streamed the performance via Line LIVE for fans to watch through the encore. He announced a a new album this winter, as well as a supplemental tour starting January 20th 2019. More information on his second album will be released in the coming months.
Following his first single earlier this year, Natsu no Yume/WALK, releases on August 8th. The single includes both title songs, in addition to a remix of “Black Rover“, featuring singer SKY-HI. The single is available in two separate editions, with the same track listings on both. The limited edition release comes with special packaging, as well as a specially designed sacoche bag.
