On May 25, Suiyoubi no Campanella will release a new digital EP, “Neon.” This is the group’s first song collection release with new vocalist Utaha.
“Neon” will include eight songs in total, three of which are new. Six of the songs have music videos, including the new song “Himiko.” This music video was released in tandem with the EP’s release. Check it out below!
On May 25, UA will release her new EP “Are U Romantic?” This is her first release since her May 2016 album “JaPo.” “Are U Romantic?” is part of UA’s anniversary project “UA 25th→→→30th.”
This work sees UA trying to “be a POP.” While living in Canada, she became aware of “POP”, and under the theme of “NEO POP” will work towards her goal in ways ranging from music arrangement to visual.
UA will be collaborating with many different artists on this EP, including JQ of Nulbarich, Dragon Ash‘s Kj, and Nakamura Kaho.

On May 25, Hey! Say! JUMP will release their new single, “a r e a / Koi wo Surunda / Haru Tsubame.”
“a r e a” is the theme song for the fifth season of the the TV Asahi drama “Kaseifu no Mitazono”, starring Kei Inoo. This is the third time that Hey! Say! JUMP has been in charge of a song for this drama, following the third season’s ending theme “Ai dake ga Subete -What do you want?-” and the fourth season’s opening theme “Last Mermaid…”
“Koi wo Surunda” serves as the theme song for the TV Asahi drama “Ore no Kawaii wa Mousugu Shouhi Kigen!?”, which stars Ryosuke Yamada. “Haru Tsubame” is the theme song for the NTV anime series “Love All Play.” The song was written by sumika‘s Kataoka Kenta, with composition by his bandmate Ogawa Takayuki.
“a r e a / Koi wo Surunda / Haru Tsubame” will come in four editions. Each A-side will have its own CD+DVD limited edition, in addition to the CD only regular edition. Each of the limited editions will feature its A-side’s key color and item. All three colors are in turn featured in the cover art of the regular edition.

On May 25, Genki Iwahashi will release his second solo single, “PAJAMA PARTY.” The song was first revealed at his Christmas event at Tokyo’s Nakano Sunplaza Hall last year. Like his previous single “My Lonely X’mas”, this song was also recorded in Los Angeles.
“PAJAMA PARTY” will be released in three editions: CD+DVD limited edition, CD only regular edition, and CD+Photobook fanclub edition. All three editions will include the B-side “My Fairies”, which Genki dedicates to his fans.

Utada Hikaru will be the cover star of the July issue of Vogue Japan! The issue, out June 1, marks the first time they have appeared on the cover of the magazine.
The cover and accompanying photoshoot was shot in Utada’s current home, London. The interview was conducted remotely by Jane Su. In the interview, Utada discusses a variety of topics, including their recent album “BAD Mode” and their appearance at Coachella.
Utada also delved into some things that they normally don’t talk about, including their move to London to find a way to actually live, the death of their mother, the birth of their son, and their therapy sessions.
