We’re back with another episode of the Arama! Japan podcast! This episode covers February 2020! This month we covered a variety of topics, including coronavirus cancellations, Johnny Kitagawa‘s ashes, Kalen Anzai being real & playing Ayumi Hamasaki, new female soloists, and more.

On March 20, Haru Nemuri will release her new album, “LOVETHEISM.” This release comes nearly two years after the release of her debut album, “Spring to Shura.”
“LOVETHEISM” will be released digitally worldwide. The album will also be available on 12″ vinyl at the venues on Nemuri’s North American tour. On April 17, the album will see a CD release.
Nemuri recently released the music video for one of the songs off of “LOVETHEISM”, “Riot.” Like the clip for “Fanfare”, this too was shot in Russia. The video centers around her performing in an empty circus tent, as well as in the Russian cold. Check it out below!
On March 16, CDTV will air a special episode, CDTV Special! Sotsugyou Song Ongakusai 2020. The show will run from 7 PM to 10:57 PM, and focuses on graduation songs. The show will feature peformances by the likes of Little Glee Monster, Kanjani8, AKB48, NEWS, fljumpool, and Nogizaka46. See who else is performing below!

Former Johnny’s and member of the duo Tackey & Tsubasa has made his official return to the entertainment industry. It has been announced that Tsubasa Imai has signed with a new agency called Shochiku Entertainment.
In 2014 Tsubasa was diagnosed with Meniere’s Disease after he started to experience sudden deafness in his right ear. He also started to experience dizziness both on and off the stage. While there is still no official cure for Meniere’s Disease, there are treatments available to deal with the symptoms.
This week, Hey! Say! JUMP topped the Combined Single chart with their new single “I am / Muah Muah”, with 206,295 points in its first week.
BTS topped the Combined Album chart with their album “Map Of The Soul: 7”, with 386,952 points in its second week.
Hey! Say! JUMP also topped the Single chart with “I am / Muah Muah”, selling 206,295 copies in its first week.

Official HIGE DANdism topped the Digital Single chart with their single “I LOVE…”, selling 32,062 copies in its seventh week, topping the chart for the fifth non-consecutive week.
Fling Posse topped the Digital Album chart with their debut mini album “Fling Posse Before The 2nd D.R.B-“, selling 5,004 copies in its first week.
Official HIGE DANdism also topped the Streaming chart with “I LOVE…”, with 4,831,356 streams in its seventh week, topping the chart for the third consecutive week.
This week’s episode featured Yuzu. This is the duo’s first appearance on the show in two years. It is also their first appearance on the show since Oizumi Yo took over as host. In this episode, the three men in their 40s have a talk about things that relate to their generation.
