Anime movie phenom Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train has earned a total of Y10,754,232,550 with 7,983,442 admissions in 10 days, making it the fastest film to reach the 10 Billion Yen mark in Japanese box office. To put into perspective, the highest grossing film of all time “Spirited Away” (Y30.8B), reached Y10B after 25 days. “Your Name” (28 days), Weathering With You (34 days), Frozen 2 (40 days).

The trailer for Gou Ayano‘s highly anticipated film “Yakuza and The Family” has been released! The trailer for the film also showcases it’s theme song titled “Familia” performed by the group Millennium Parade.

“Yakuza and The Family” follows the trails and tribulations of a Yakuza family spanning 20 years, 1999-2019. Kenji Yamamoto’s (Gou Ayano) father dies from a drug overdose, resulting in Yamamoto falling into a severe depression. During these hard times Yamamoto decides to enter the crime world. His gang boss, played by Hiroshi Tachi, becomes quite close with Yamamoto treating him like his own son. Yamamoto eventually starts his own family which doesn’t deter from his dramatic life.

Up-and-coming top Johnny’s group SixTONES have been selected as the main visual for Japanese clothing brand WEGO‘s brand new autumn campaign.

For one of the main visuals the boys appear with zombie make-up in celebration of Halloween. Beginning on October 26th, the visual will be plastered across WEGO stores nationwide in Japan. In an interview with natalie, the boys shared their thoughts on Halloween and “zombie SixTONES”.

Sexy Zone has released behind-the-scenes footage from their latest tour “POP×STEP!? TOUR 2020]”. Serving as a teaser of sorts for fans who weren’t able to attend the earlier dates, they get another chance to see the concert as special online dates will be held on October 29th, 30th, and the 31st.

Fans who are either a member of Sexy Zone or Johnny’s fanclub will receive a discount for the online tickets, further purchasing information can be seen on Johnny’s official website.

The online lives will feature Sexy Zone as a 5 member group, Sou Matsushima recently resumed activities after taking time off to recover from his panic disorder in 2018. Check out the video below!

Superstar Maki Goto has announced two special online events celebrating her 20th anniversary! The events will be split up into two separate parts, and both will take place on December 20th.

The first part is music themed, and it will be her first solo concert since 2011’s “G-Emotion FINAL ~for you~”. To announce the online events, Goto uploaded a video on her official YouTube channel. The video begins with footage from her G-Emotion FINAL concert, and 2 minutes in she can be seen talking about the event.
