In under 2 weeks LDH group E-girls will be disbanding. Their final concert will be taking place on December 28th titled “[LIVExONLINE BEYOND THE BORDER] E-girls LAST LIVE” and will be broadcast through Abema TV. On the same day their final album will be a released, a self titled BEST album.
The album will contain a couple new tracks including a cover of the EXILE song “VICTORY”, and a new recording called “eleven“. To celebrate the upcoming album and concert a special lyric video for “eleven” was uploaded to E-girls official YouTube channel.
Yurina Hirate has kept a steady stream of happy surprises for her very first single titled “Reason for Dance!” She premiered the single with no prior announcement while performing at the music show “FNS Kayosai”. After the performance there was no confirmed news on whether the single would actually be released or not.
Yesterday it was finally announced that her single would be released digitally on Christmas, and today a surprise full MV for the track was uploaded on her newly created YouTube page! Fans have been full of praise for the video has it clearly showcases Hirate’s commanding stage presence and expertise in dance. Check it out below!

Ryota Miyadate of Snow Man has tested positive for the novel coronavirus COVID-19. The result was revealed today after a regularly conducted PCR test conducted by Johnny & Associates.
Ryota is currently showing no symptoms, but will be under the watch of medical staff going forward. The other members of Snow Man tested negative.
On December 31, the 71st NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen will air. The show will feature performances by the likes of Arashi, Tokyo Jihen, NiziU, Perfume, MISIA, Aimyon, Hoshino Gen, and LiSA. The song list for the show has been released, and can be seen below!
Ayumi Hamasaki’s annual CDL (countdown live) concert has been an annual tradition loved by fans for almost her entire career. Her very first CDL concert was held 20 years ago on December 30th and 31st at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo back in 2000.
The “WHATEVER “Ferry ‘System F’ Corsten Vocal Edit Mix” hitmaker loves to spend new years with her legion of devoted fans, but unfortunately for the first time in 20 years they will have to join her digitally. Titled “COUNTDOWN LIVE 2020-2021 ~MUSIC for LIFE~”, the concert was to have a live audience (with multiple measures in place with COVID-19 in mind) and also be streamed through the services Thumva and Bilibili.
Former Keyakizaka46 member Yurina Hirate made headlines two weeks ago when she made a surprise performance at the annual FNS Kayosai music festival, performing her very first solo song “Reason for Dance“. At the time no word was given for a release date, but her team has finally given confirmation!

Johnny’s group Snow Man is back with a brand new single! “Grandeur” will be the groups third single overall, and will serve as the new theme for the popular anime series “Black Clover“.
The official shonen jump YouTube channel uploaded a special; anime version of the “Grandeur” MV. It features exciting footage from the action packed show. The 4th season of Black Clover began airing in Japan on December 8th, 2020. A date for the dubbed version hasn’t been revealed yet, but news pertaining to that will likely be released in the next few months. Check out the MV below:
