Alternative outfit the dresscodes – better known as the solo project of singer/songwriter Ryohei Shima – has announced that it will be releasing its seventh longplay on June 16th. This record, titled “Beyer”, was originally revealed as a piano instrumental album, with the intent to refine the concept until it reached studio quality.

“Beyer” will run 12 tracks in length, including a newly arranged version of the dresscodes’ previously released song “Peter Ivers”. The album will be issued in two versions: a CD+Blu-ray Edition wherein the latter disc will contain the era’s music videos, and a deluxe 3CD+Blu-ray Edition which will additionally feature a short film related to the release.

Back in February we reported that alt. rock trio Quruli would be releasing a new album titled “Tensai no Ai” on April 28th. Now that this date has finally arrived, they have chosen to publish the music video for its second track “Shiokaze no Aria” to the band’s YouTube channel.

This PV, directed by Yuichiro Fujishiro, catalogs the group’s journey to the seashore and the sights they encounter upon arrival. Of note, the version of “Shiokaze no Aria” used in the video is a different mix than is featured on the album proper.

Aimer topped the Combined Album chart with her new album “Walpurgis”, with 35,409 points in its first week.

Sakurazaka46 also topped the Single chart with “BAN”, selling 373,547 copies in its first week of physical release.

ASTRO also topped the Album chart with their album “All Yours”, selling 31,765 copies in its second week.

ONE OK ROCK also topped the Digital Single chart with their new digital single “Renegades”, selling 31,858 copies its first week.

Aimer also topped the Digital Album chart with “Walpurgis”, selling 6,144 copies in its first week.

NiziU retook the top spot on the Streaming chart with their single “Take a picture”, with 8,469,071 streams in its third week.

Arashi‘s Kazunari Ninomiya has opened a YouTube channel! His channel debuted on April 25 with a video titled “#1 Makuake.”

“It’s a bit lonely to do this alone,” he said. So he decided to recruit some of his colleagues at Johnny & Associates to form a team.

At the end of the video, the first member of the team is teased. This person is currently busy with their anniversary. He’s Kazunari’s junior, even though they are the same age. So who is he?
