Mari Yaguchi (31) will be resuming her entertainment activities by appearing on “Jouhou Live Miyane-ya” next week; her first live appearance since her adultery scandal in May 2013. The staff are currently making final preparations for her appearance next week. It will have been a year and five months since fans have seen Yaguchi live on TV.
Yaguchi is known for her cheerful and witty remarks; so many people are anticipating her comeback. ‘Miyane-ya’ was approached numerous times last month to get Yaguchi on their show. This month, the program has decided to go through with it and prepare for Yaguchi’s comeback. A concrete date on Yaguchi’s appearance has yet to be determined, but they have made certain that it will be sometime next week. This will be Yaguchi’s first television appearance since “GO GO! Smile!” on May 21, 2013.
Popular up-and-coming band Gesu no Kiwami Otome. announced today that they’ve opened an official Youtube channel; to commemorate this, they’ve also uploaded the music video for their newest song ‘Digital Mogura’ to the channel. The PV features the band playing around a large mechanical mole (‘mogura’) as a timer counts down, the situation growing more and more unusual as the clock approaches zero.
‘Digital Mogura’ is currently being used as the theme song for drama ‘Subete ga F ni Naru’, which stars Emi Takei and Go Ayano. Furthermore, the song will be serving as the lead track for the band’s first full studio album ‘Miryoku ga Sugoi yo’, which is set to release on the 29th of this month.

The world has been waiting on the sales results of the new album by Misono, who says that she will retire if she does not sell 10,000 copies. Though official numbers aren’t out yet, it seems that she has sold at 4,000 albums on the first day of release.
Shining at the top of the Rekochoku newcomer half-year charts, Hokkaido born singer-songwriter MACO has been getting attention from international artists.
MACO has made a name for herself by covering songs by Western artists such as Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, and Ariana Grande and publishing it on YouTube. Her version of Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” has so far gained over 5 million views.
In April 2014, she released her first indie mini-album “22″, which topped the Japan iTunes album charts. She was subsequently signed by Universal Music Japan.
From their major debut EP “oddloop“, frederick has released a PV for the track “Ningyo no Hanashi“.
The animation was based on illustrations drawn by the band’s bassist Kouji Mihara. About a mermaid, it features bright colors and a unique storyline of a flat yet textured surreal world. It’s in tune with their previous video “oddloop” and their return to a female duo motif for the video.

The Oricon style physical album and singles charts for the week of 10/06 – 10/12 have been released! Tomohisa Yamashita tops the album charts pushing 45,624 units of his new album “YOU” while Nogizaka46 were triumphant on the single charts, scoring the number one spot with “Nandome no Aozora ka?” and sold 479,788 copies.
