Berryz Kobo release heartwarming video for Towa No Uta

The official youtube channel of Berryz Kobo has uploaded the video for their song “Towa No Uta”.

“Towa no Uta” seems to be a homage to their debut single “Anata Nashi de wa Ikite Yukenai”. The girls wear checkered outfits and the stage they’re performing on is undeniably similar. Throughout the video we’re also treated to flashbacks of the girls performing around the time of their debut.

Mariko Goto releases pv for “Sunameri”

As previously reported, ex-Midori frontwoman Mariko Goto is set to release new her album “Kowareta Hako ni Rinakkusu” on November 12. Today, she released the music video for the album’s 4th track, “Sunameri.” The video has a hazy, dreamlike feel mixed in with some rather unusual things. The ending is rather interesting. Attack on Titan getting a crossover with Marvel

Marvel Talent scout C.B Celbulski announced via twitter that Hajime Isayama’s “Attack on Titan” manga will be getting a crossover with the Marvel Universe. It’s currently unknown if the crossover will commercially be released outside of Japan, further details on the project are expected to be released shortly.

Marvel has collaborated with many Japanese companies in the past. Their work with Capcom created the iconic fighting games “Street Fighter vs. X-men”, “Marvel Super Heros”, and “Marvel vs Capcom”. Marvel also worked with the Japanese animation studio “Madhouse”, creating original Anime series’ for Iron Man, Blade, X-men, and Wolverine.

plenty release beautifully stylized animated PV for “Ikiru Sainou”

As reported previously, alt. rock band plenty will be releasing a new mini-album titled “Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi” this week on November 5th, their first release since becoming a 3-member group again.  Now, the band have published the music video for the lead track off of said release, “Ikiru Sainou”.

The PV is an impressively expressive animated affair which appears to chronicle a young boy’s inner struggles made manifest, focusing particularly on the ideas of anguish and human sexuality. This excellent PV was directed by artist Atsushi Tani, who has worked with plenty in the past on their music videos for “Hito to no Kyori no Hakari Kata” and “Sora ga Waratteru”.

Japan’s First Occult-Infused Idol Group

Meet Necronomidol, a four-member underground Idol Metal group based in Tokyo. The group consists of members, Sari the shironuri (white face) performer, Henmi the choreographer, Kakizaki the former idol, and Tachibana the self-proclaimed “problem child”.

Details on C-ute’s New Single I Miss You/THE FUTURE

C-ute will be releasing their 26th single I Miss You/THE FUTURE on November 19th.

C-ute’s producer Tsunku has described “I Miss You” as a very unique and technical song, while “THE FUTURE” shows off their more aggressive side. Going with the unique theme for “I Miss You” a very different PV, for Hello!Project standards, was filmed. Details on “THE FUTURE”s video are expected to be revealed shortly.
