Idol group Idoling!!! announced on Friday that they will break up this October.

According to multiple sources, the decision was made after multiple meetings for the group to break up since last month.

The idol group currently has twenty-one active members spanning six generations since their 2006 debut. In late December, their 13th member Serina Nagano announced at an event commemorating the release of her single “Yuki Usagi” at Odaiba Diver City in Tokyo that she will graduate from the group on March 28.

Nogizaka46’s 11th single Inochi wa Utsukushii (Life is Beautiful) features member Nanase Nishino as center. The full music video has been released and it highlights their dance which was filmed at the theater of Kawaguchiko, Yamanashi prefecture. Aside from the dance, the members are also seen shedding black tears.

The single covers are taken at Kujukuri Beach in Chiba prefecture with the setting -sunrise, sunset and the sea to symbolize life. The art director for the shoot is Yanagawa Keisuke, and the photographer was Aono Chihiro.

The DVD content also features a a collaboration between 2 members. The single will be released on March 18. Check out their newest video and single details below.

Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, is currently in Japan to promote UK relations, visiting from February 26  to March 1. On his third day in Japan, on February 28, he visited the set of taiga drama of the NHK Public Broadcasting Studios and met Inoue Mao.

The lead actress of “Hana Moyu”, who plays a character called Humi Sugi in the drama, presented the duke with a bouquet of flowers and a hand-made wooden toy for Prince George.

Yu Yamada appeared at the 20th Tokyo Girls Collection fashion show for the spring/summer collection. The event was held at Yoyogi National Gymnasium on the 28th.

As previously reported, Yuya Matsushita is now in a boyband named X4. On February 22, the group released their debut album “XVISION.” As with all releases on Yuya’s independent label Japanese Dream Records, X4’s album is a digital only release. The upside to this however is that the album is available internationally. It can be purchased on sites such as iTunes and Amazon. It can also be streamed via Spotify. Kis-My-Ft2 has announced a new single to be released on March 25. The new song titled Kiss魂 (Kiss Damashii) is described as a rock and dance number. Avex has released the single covers and tracklist as well as a short preview to Kiss Damashii and coupling songs on their website.

Kiss Damashi is the CM song for glico’s Watering KISSMINT, while the coupling song “Shake Body!!” is the commercial background song for Mushi Yoke Touban CM.
