V6’s Okada Junichi starring movie “Library Wars: THE LAST MISSION” will be having a drama SP before the movie release. The drama special “Library Wars: BOOK OF MEMORIES” will be aired on TBS this fall before the movie sequel opens on October 10.
The movie is based from Arikawa Hiro’s bestselling novel. While the film sequel will depict the larger war story of the Library Defense Force, the television special will focus on the daily lives of the force members with elements of romantic comedy.
The TBS special will reunite the cast from the first movie, Okada Junichi as Atsushi, Eikura Nana as Iku, and Fukushi Sota as Tezuka Hikaru. Also joining the cast in the special and the film sequel are Matsuzaka Tori as Hikaru’s older brother Tezuka Satoshi who approaches Iku, Tsuchiya Tao as Komaki’s childhood friend Nakazawa Marie with a hearing impairment, and Nakamura Aoi as the curator Asahina Shuji with a romantic connection to Shibasaki.
Kudo Kankuro’s completely original work “TOO YOUNG TO DIE! Wakakushite Shinu” stars TOKIO’s Nagase Tomoya and Kamiki Ryunosuke. Kudo Kankuro has written the script and will be directing for the movie.
“TOO YOUNG TO DIE! Wakakushite Shinu” is entertainment movie that begins when Daisuke (Kamiki), a high school student who lost his life in an accident met Killer K (Nagase), the red ogre (demon) in hell. Daisuke receives a “demon special training” from Killer K, the original guitarist and vocalist of the rock band Jigoku-zu (Hellz), and aims for resurrection so he can claim his unrequited love.

One of Koda Kumi’s signatures are her summer singles. This summer, she is compiling some of these songs into a summer collection album, titled “SUMMER of LOVE.” Out July 22, the album will have 15 tracks, including 3 new songs. The new songs are titled “EX TAPE”, “NO ONE ELSE BUT YOU”, and “HURRICANE.” Kuu’s official site has clips of “EX TAPE” and “NO ONE ELSE BUT YOU” available. “EX TAPE” is an upbeat urban song, while “NO ONE ELSE BUT YOU” sees her going in a smoother, jazzier direction. After a 2-and-a-half year wait, veteran pop-rock band Mr.Children are finally set to release their 18th studio album “REFLECTION” next week on June 4th. Ahead of this date, the band have published a trailer for the new record to their official Youtube channel, hoping to give their fans a taste of what’s to come.
The trailer contains snippets of various different songs that are going to be on the album, set against a colorful display of different shimmering shapes and culminating in a banner composed of the release’s cover. The tracks included in the trailer, in order, are as follows: Ashioto ~Be Strong, Genchou, Shayou, Wasurenu Hito, fantasy, and Mikan.
