On November 25, Akai Koen will release their new single “KOIKI.” This is the band’s first release since their album “Moretsu Rythmique”, which was released in September 2014. Akai Koen has been playing “KOIKI” at their live shows for the past few months. One of the B-sides on this single is a cover of Toshinobu Kubota’s 1996 classic, “LA LA LA LOVE SONG.”

The 2015 MTV Europe Music Awards take place in Milan, Italy on October 25. One of the awards given away that night will be for Best Worldwide Act, an award in which acts from various regions of the world compete for the prize. The winner of Best Japan Act was announced today and it is Dempagumi.inc. They triumphed over BABYMETAL, ONE OK ROCK, Sandaime J Soul Brothers, and SEKAI NO OWARI. The ladies of Dempagumi.inc were surprised by their win and thanked everyone for their support. They also see this as an opportunity to spread their music around the world.
Dempagumi.inc now advances to the Worldwide Act: Asia stage of the nomination process. The winner of this round will become a final nominee for Best Worldwide Act.

On November 11, Crystal Kay will release a new digital single, “Nando Demo.” The song, which she wrote herself, will serve as an insert song in the new Fuji TV drama “Otona Joshi”, which debuts on October 15. Before its release, “Nando Demo” will be released as a ringtone on October 22.
Crystal has also announced the release of her new album on December 16. It is currently untitled, but it will include the singles “Kimi ga Ita Kara”, “REVOLUTION”, and “Nando Demo.”
Today, Crystal released a short music video for “Nando Demo.” The video takes place on the set of “Otona Joshi.” Check it out after the jump!
On the single side, Aqours topped the chart with “Kimi no Kokoro wa Kagayaiterukai?”, with its CD+Blu-ray edition selling 34,751 copies. However, the best selling single this week is NMB48’s “Must be now.” Between its 6 editions, “Must be now” sold 87,436 copies, making it the best selling single this week.
On the album side, Yonezu Kenshi topped the chart with “Bremen”, with its CD+DVD+Book Limited Edition selling 24,965 copies. Two editions of “Bremen” took the top 2 spots on the chart. Between its 3 editions, “Bremen” sold 53,639 copies, making it the best selling album this week.
On October 28, Perfume will release their new single, “STAR TRAIN.” The song deals with Perfume progressing over their 15 years as a group. The video features imagery that matches the song’s lyrics.
Today, Perfume released a short teaser for the “STAR TRAIN” music video. It can be seen after the jump. There is a also a recently uploaded radio rip of the song there!
On December 2, Superfly will release her new single and coupling song collection.
The title track, “Kuroi Shizuku” is currently being used as the theme song for the Fuji TV drama “Mutsuu〜Mieru Me” which started airing last Wednesday.
Now, a teaser video has been released. It contains footage of her free live performance in Osaka which will be on the limited edition DVD of the release, as well as behind the scenes footage from the release’s jacket photoshoot.

NMB48’s latest single “Must be now” tops the singles ranking with 307,036 copies sold in its first week.
Singer-songwriter Kenshi Yonezu’s latest album “Bremen” tops the album chart with 50,812 copies sold. This is his first album to top the chart.
Nishino Kana continues her reign at the top of Recochoku for the fifth week in a row with “Torisetsu.”
The song also topped iTunes for the fourth week in a row.
