On September 4, V6 will release their 14th (and presumably final) studio album, “STEP.” This album will consist entirely of new songs. “STEP” sees V6 working with an array of collaborators, including KOHH, Tempalay, Moriyama Naotaro, and Keishi Tanaka.

The covers of “STEP” were shot by Kurigami Kazumi. The new V6 artist photo, however, was shot by Okada Junichi. More of his photoshoot with his group can be seen in the photobook that comes with the regular edition of “STEP.”

Ahead of the release of their new album, V6 released the music video for “Ame.” The song was written and co-composed by KOHH, under his real name, Chiba Yuki. The video was choreographed by s**t kingz. Check it out below, along with more information on V6’s new album!

On November 25, Tomohisa Yamashita will release “Circle”, his first photobook. The photos in the book were shot by the Polish photographer Maciej Kucia. Yamapi hopes that his expressions in this photobook will be timeless, and still have an impact 100 years from now. He also wants viewers to feel the both the cold and the warmth of the Earth in his photobook.

“Circle” will be released in a limited edition and regular edition, with the limited edition including a making of DVD, a poster, and a postcard.

On October 6, King & Prince will release their eighth single, “Koifuru Tsukiyo ni Kimi Omou.” The song serves as the theme song for the film “Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai ~Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunosen~ Final”, which stars Hirano Sho.

“Koifuru Tsukiyo ni Kimi Omou” sees King & Prince reuniting with Jazzin’ Park, who they previously worked with on “koi wazurai”, the theme song for the previous “Kaguya-sama” movie.

King & Prince have now releases the music video for “Koifuru Tsukiyo ni Kimi Omou.” The video shifts between the group looking up at the moon and dancing in the clouds. Check it out below!

On September 1, Genie High will release their second album, “Genie Star.” This album comes nearly two years after their debut album, “Genie High Story.”

“Genie Star” will be released in two editions: a limited CD+DVD / Blu-ray edition and a CD only regular edition. The limited edition will also include a manga that relates to the album artwork, which features the members of Genie High as alien part-time convenience store workers.

VivaOla is a new R&B singer-songwriter / producer on the scene. He was born in South Korea, raised in Tokyo, and educated at Berklee College of Music. On September 1, he will release his debut album, “Juliet is the moon.”

The album will feature collaborations with the likes of YonYon, ZIN, starRo, and KRICK. Ahead of the release of “Juliet is the moon”, VivaOla has released music videos for his collaborations with YonYon and ZIN. Check them out below, along with more information on his debut album!

On September 1, FNCY will release their second album, “FNCY BY FNCY.” This release comes two years and two months after their self-titled debut album.
