It was reported last month that talent Mari Sekine (29) and Korean singer K (30) were to marry this month.
After 2 years of a serious relationship, Sponichi reports that the couple tied the knot today at a Shinto shrine in Tokyo.
Rather than the popular choice of a modern Western-style wedding, the couple opted for a more traditional Shinto-style ceremony, with K wearing a simple hakama and Mari wearing a white kimono, visibly revealing her maiden status to the Gods. Both of their parents, relatives, as well as 30 close friends of the couple gathered today to witness the ceremony.
Although K looked tense, Sekine glowed while showing off a sweet, gentle smile.
