Earlier today, the “63rd Japan Record Awards” were held. Da-iCE took home the top prize of the night for their song “Citrus”, beating out AKB48, Awesome City Club, Junretsu, DA PUMP, NiziU, Nogizaka46, Hikawa Kiyoshi, Daichi Miura, and LiSA.
Macaroni Enpitsu took home the Best New Artist Award, winning against INI, TAEKO, and Mochizuki Ruka.

The statement from the company read that they were informed of the news by Shingo recently. He is married to a non-famous woman, so the agency requests that her privacy be respected.
“The 14th CD Shop Awards 2022” has released its nominee list for 2021! Twenty four albums were picked for this year’s awards. The albums were chosen by CD shop staff from across Japan to highlight releases that caught their discerning ears.
In March, the awards will be given out. There will be two main awards. The first will be the “red” award, which goes a to “god-level” album that can be listened to again and again. The second will be the “blue” award, which goes to an album by a new artist that is highly recommended to customers.

On December 31, CDTV will air this year’s edition of its annual New Year’s Eve special, “CDTV Special! Toshikoshi Premier Live 2021→2022.” The show will start at 11:45 PM JST and end at 5 AM JST the next day. The show will be hosted by TBS announcer Eto Ai, with EXIT assisting, continuing last year’s hosting arrangement.
All 73 performers and the songs they will sing were announced at once. The list includes BE:FIRST, LiSA, INI, Sakurazaka46, JO1, milet, Mika Nakashima, and Daichi Miura. See who else is performing below!
On December 31, the “72nd NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen” will air. The show will feature performances by the likes of Snow Man, YOASOBI, NiziU, Fujii Kaze, MISIA, Aimyon, Tokyo Jihen, and LiSA. The song list for the show was recently released, and we now know the order they will perform in. Find out below!
