On July 13, Snow Man will release their seventh single, “Orange kiss.” It is an emotional love song that shows the desire to protect one’s lover. The song serves as the theme song for the live action film version of the Tamashima Non manga “Moekare wa Orange-iro.” In the film, out July 8, Snow Man’s leader Hikaru Iwamoto plays the role of Kyosuke Ebihara, a firefighter who falls in love with high school student Moe Sasaki, played by Meru Nukumi.
In addition to the A-side, the single will include the three B-sides. At the time of writing, only two are named, “Wonderful! × Surprise!” and “Feel the light, Lovely.” The former depicts “the excitement of new encounters”, while the latter is a sexy R&B number which debuted at “Takizawa Kabuki ZERO 2022.”

On June 22, TV Tokyo will air its summer music special, “TV Tokyo Music Festival 2022 Natsu.” It will air from 5:30 PM JST – 9:54 PM JST. The show will be hosted by TOKIO’s Kokubun Taichi for the 11th time, with Hirosue Ryoko co-hosting for the fifth consecutive time. Johnny’s WEST will serve as the show’s cheer captains.
Johnny’s WEST will also be performing on the show, along with the likes of BE:FIRST, NiziU, hitomi, Sexy Zone, Sakurazaka46, Daichi Miura, BiSH, and ZARD. Three acts on the show will also have special anniversary performances: Kudo Shizuka (35th), Mizuki Alisa (30th), and DA PUMP (25th).

Last month, Harry Styles released his third solo album, “Harry’s House.” Harry, a known Japanophile, was particularly inspired by another Harry, Haruomi Hosono, for this album.
When speaking to Apple Music about his city pop-inspired album’s title, Harry said, “The album is named after Haruomi Hosono, he had an album in the ’70s called ‘Hosono House’, and I spent that chunk in Japan; I heard that record and I was like ‘I love that. It’d be really fun to make a record called Harry’s House’.”
Harry even gave Hosono a shoutout on the American morning show “Today” when he was promoting the album.
So what is Harry doing to promote the album in Japan? He’s appearing on “THE FIRST TAKE”, singing his song “Boyfriends.”
