GENERATIONS vocalist Ryota Katayose will be teaming up with former Rev. from DVL member Kanna Hashimoto for a brand new film called “Gozen 0 ji, Kiss Shi ni Kite yo“. It’s based off of the 2015 manga series of the same name.
Kanna plays the lead role of Hirana, a sincere and sweet high school student. Mainly focusing on keeping up her good grades, she seems to be the type to not really be interested in a boyfriend, but like many she longs to have a romance with a handsome man.

After an 11 year absence, Leah Dizon will return to the music industry! On July 24, Leah will release a new mini album, “FOR THE WORLD.” This is her first release since her 2008 album “Communication!!!”
Since “Communication!!!”, Leah has gotten married, became a mother, gotten divorce, and returned to the US. During her time in the US, she obtained a degree in Developmental Psychology from Nevada State College.
Leah returns to the Japanese music scene with “FOR THE WORLD.” The theme of the mini album is love. Two of the songs, “Purple Rain” and “futuReLover”, were written by Leah. “FOR THE WORLD” was produced by Dono Akinori of TOKYO RABBIT RECORDS, who’s also worked with Hirahara Ayaka, Chris Hart, and Aoyagi Sho.
Leah recently released a music video for the mini album’s title track. It’s a light and breezy affair that matches the current peak of summer. Check it out below, along with more information on Leah’s comeback release!
Koda Kumi has been on release spree this month. After releasing the digital singles “Eh Yo”, “Summer Time”, and “DO ME” with little fanfare, she has inexplicably released a music video for a random cover she’s done of Ricky Martin‘s 1999 hit “Livin’ La Vida Loca.” There are so many questions here. First of all, of all the songs in the world, why this one? Why are you doing a cover at all? Why is there no release date for this song? Why is there a music video for it, especially when your three digital singles that have come out this month have no videos? By the way, why did you release those digital singles? Where is the demand? Who is steering this ship and where are they taking it? Try to make sense of this all below.
