Popular seiyuu and singer Nana Mizuki has announced that she is married! Her marriage took place on the 6th, and she is choosing to keep her husband’s identity a secret. However, Mizuki did reveal that her husband does work in the music industry.
Mizuki apologized for announcing this while the country is going through such a difficult situation, but she wanted to let her fans know. 2020 was a big year for Mizuki as she celebrated her 40th birthday, and 20th year since making her major debut.
On July 18, TBS will air this year’s edition of its annual mid-year music special, “Ongaku no Hi.” The show will begin at 2 PM that day and end at 11:18 PM that night. Nakai Masahiro and TBS announcer Azumi Shinichiro will host the show for the tenth consecutive year.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the theme of this year’s show is “Nippon no Genki! (Japan’s energy!)” Through the power of music, “Ongaku no Hi 2020” will energize Japan during the pandemic.

Power couple Shohei Miura and Mirei Kiritani have welcomed a new addition to the family! Both made an announcement on their official Instagam accounts that Kiritani had successfully given birth to a healthy baby boy!
Kiritani stated that he’s fully of energy, and both her and the baby are doing fine. She stated that she will consider resuming her entertainment activities once her overall physical condition improves. Miura left a similar statement on his account, commenting that even though there’s a lot of sad news going around and the future isn’t certain, they hope that the damage doesn’t spread further.
