The March issue of Music Magazine is dedicated to a ranking of the top 100 albums of the 2010s. This was a decade that saw many changes that impacted how music is consumed, from smartphones to streaming. It was a decade that opened with the Great East Japan Earthquake and ended with the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Arashi’s Kazunari Ninomiya has announced that he is officially a father! He confirmed the news in a press release through his agency Johnny & Associates. He and his wife welcomed a healthy baby girl into their family.

Nino made a short statement apologizing for reporting on his personal affairs, but was revealed that she was born safely. Both the child and mother are doing fine. He also revealed that as a father he will continue to work harder than ever, thanking all for their warm support.

It being January, no songs from 2021 were certified this month on the download or streaming sides.

A few week ago, we wrote about how Avex boybands INTERSECTION and WARPs UP are taking part in the Chinese survival series “CHUANG 2021.” This week, the show featured a Japanese special mentor, Koki!

Koki appeared on “CHUANG 2021” via video. She greeted the show’s contestants, to their surprise. She then critiqued their performances. Koki spoke a mixture of Japanese, English, and Mandarin on the show.
