Aragaki Yui and Oizumi Yo Attends Preview for “Twilight Sasara Saya” Movie

Actress Aragaki Yui first challenged a mother role in the movie “Twilight Sasara Saya”. A showcase premiere was held last October 28 in Tokyo. The cast including Aragaki, Oizumi Yo, Nakamura Aoi, Komatsu Masao, Fuji Sumiko, and director Yoshihiro Fukagawa attended.

Arakagi was worried for the mother role and feels the image of Aragaki in school uniform is an easy image for others. Through the movie, co-starring with a newborn baby, she was able to smile and virtually experience with something similar to a mother’s feelings.

Acid Black Cherry and 109MEN’S  to collaborate once more

It has been decided that Acid Black Cherry will further develop his collaboration campaign with men’s fashion line 109MEN’s.

This will be the second time the singer and the brand have come together since they started collaborating in February 2012. The clothes have been well received and sold out immediately when ABC singer yasu wore them in the advertisements. His impact in men’s fashion has proven to be strong, recently ranking number one on the fashion popularity list in male fashion magazine “MEN’S KNUCKLE” among male readers.

This will only be available from November 1 to 21 at the 109MEN’S store in Shibuya as well as the shops in Sapporo, Shizuoka, and Tenjin.

In addition, Acid Black Cherry will release his 4th album “l-Eru-” in 2015. A trailer video has been published to his official YouTube Channel and is available below.

JUJU releases cover and tracklist for her new cover album

JUJU is set to release her 4th cover album on December 3. It is titled “Request II” and is the second release in her non-jazz “Request” series of cover albums. It is following the original “Request” album which was released in 2010 and sold nearly half a million copies. On that album, she covered popular acts such as Shiina Ringo, MISIA, Utada Hikaru, and Namie Amuro. On this album, she’s covering a new group of acts such as UA, globe, Yuna Ito, Chara, and Yumi Matsutoya. Even the cover of this new cover album is a bit of a cover. It pays homage to the cover of the original “Request” seeing as how they both use the same location and have the same sort of pose and outfit. Check out the cover and tracklist after the jump!

V6 and Arashi top the weekly Oricon charts! 10/20-10/26

Johnny & Associates groups take both top spots on the Oricon Physical charts for the week of 10/20-10/26. For the Single charts, V6 come in the number one spot with their song  “Sky’s the Limit” pushing 95,367 units, while Arashi sell a massive 660,204 copies of their brand new album “THE DIGITALIAN“.

Creephyp releases covers and tracklist for their new album

As previously reported, Creephyp is set to release their 3rd album “Hitotsu ni Narenai nara, Semete Futatsu Dakede Iyou” on December 3. Today, the band revealed the covers and tracklist for the upcoming album. The album will have 12 tracks, including the singles “Neguse”, “Ero”, “Nijyukyu, Sanjyu”, and “Hyakuhachi Yen no Koi.” The limited edition DVD will include footage from a show they did at a Tokyo strip club. First Trailer for Otoko no Issho Starring Eikura Nana and Toyokawa Etsushi

Eikura Nana stars as Dozono Tsugumi, a woman who gave up on love before meeting 52-year old man Kaieda Jun played by Toyokawa Etsushi. The movie is a live-action film adaptation of Nishi Keiko’s Otoko no Issho (A Man’s Lifetime) manga. The first trailer has been released which also features the song “Hold me, Hold you” by JUJU.

Otoko no Issho will open on Valentines Day, February 14, 2015. Prior to this, the movie will premiere at the Tokyo Film Festival, which is being held from October 23 to 31. That makes 2 of Eikura’s movies to screen at the festival, together with “MIRACLE: Devil Claus’ Love and Magic”.

Other cast include Mukai Osamu, Ando Sakura, Maeno Tomoya, Ochiai Motoki, Negishi Toshie and Hamada Mari.

Kanjani∞ Previews “Kanjanism” Album & Sub-units, Announces new Single

As previously reported, Kanjani∞ will be releasing their new album “Kanjanism” on November 5. A spot CM for the album was aired and it gives a preview of the album lead song  “EJ ☆ coaster”, footage of “Maruyama came from 2050!”, as well as PV previews for the Kanjani8 special sub-units. Album covers are also out.

The group also previously announced a 2nd single release after “Itta Janai Ka/ Clover” before the year ends, and new details have been confirmed. Their 31st single Gamushara Koshinkyoku, will be released on December 3. The song is written, composed, and arranged by Peach, also one of their composers from previous album JUKEBOX. It is currently used as theme song for drama Jigoku Sensei Nube staring member Maruyama Ryuhei. The single will be released in two editions.
