Today, Music Station held its annual year end show, Music Station Super Live. The nearly 4 hour long show featured performances by Ayumi Hamasaki, AKB48, EXILE, L’Arc-en-Ciel, X Japan, BABYMETAL, and Arashi among others. Earlier this month, LDH group Sandaime J Soul Brothers announced they would be releasing a new album in early 2015. Today this released more info such as the release date, tracklist and more.
The album is named PLANET SEVEN and will be released on January 28th in 5 versions. These versions are CD only, CD+DVD, CD+2DVD, CD+Blu-ray, CD+2Blu-ray. The album will contain J Soul Brother’s 2014 seasonal releases.
It will also include a new song “Eeny, meeny, miny, moe!” which is the group’s attempt at a new sound. Vocalist Tosaka Hiroomi writes the lyrics for his emotional, deep love solo song “Link”. Imaichi Ryuuji also has his own solo song “All LOVE” which is another love song, but from a different approach.

As previously reported, on January 14 Kato Miliyah will release her new single “Shounen Shouju.” As a Christmas gift, she released the song’s music video today. The black and white video features a more acoustic side of Miliyah. Check out the video after the jump!

The video is seemingly normal fare for the group and is leaving fans excited to see the girls back after the released of their full length album this past October, with the video description you’ll quickly realize it’s much more than a simple dance video.

As previously reported, Countdown TV’s New Year’s Eve special will air on TBS on New Year’s Eve at 11:45 PM JST. It will be several hours long and as of yet has no ending time. A few days ago, the first set of performers was announced. That list included Ikimonogakari, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Golden Bomber, JUJU, SEKAI NO OWARI, Nishino Kana, B’z, miwa and Yuzu. On New Year’s Eve, NHK will hold its annual year end music show, Kouhaku Uta Gassen. Previously we reported on the list of artists who will be representing the red and white team. Today they announced the performance list and order.
