Previously it was reported that electro-pop chanteuse Aira Mitsuki has returned to the music industry. She released the full audio for her first new song in two years, “LIGHTSAVER,” to fan acclaim late last month. On September 23, Music Station will have a special episode titled “Music Station Ultra Fes.” This special celebrates the show’s 30th anniversary. Starting at noon, the show will continue for 10 hours, making it Music Station’s longest episode. Last week, the first set of performers were announced. They included the likes of AKB48, Arashi, Koda Kumi, and Tetsuya Komuro. Today the second set of performers was announced. Today, it was announced that AI gave birth to her first child, a girl, on August 28! The announcement was made by her husband, HIRO of Kaiki Gesshoku, via Instagram. He said that her water broke in the middle of the night on August 27. They then went to the hospital. After 3 hours of labor, AI gave birth to their daughter. It was an easy delivery. His healthy wife and daughter have since been discharged from the hospital. He thanked everyone for their support. He posted some photos of their new child, which can be seen after the jump!
“Romance ga Ariamaru”, Gesu no Kiwami Otome’s third single managed to sell over 15’000 copies in its first week on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart, outselling their smash hit “Watashi Igai Watashi Janai No” and setting a new personal record for the group.
